Some have said it's a coed situation too. I have no clue if that's even remotely accurate though.

I have no idea about any rumors. And I don’t know anything about his true character.
But he’s the most stuck up, cocky, don’t give a frick about anyone, self important prick I’ve met in baseball.

The story was that the husband of his mistress killed their two children or something? I can't find the article but he wasn't mentioned anywhere in it.

The rumor that was posted on here a coupe weeks ago was that Sully was folling around with a booster's wife, the booster killed his kids and then himslef, and left a note blaming Sully. I have a hard time believing all that honestly. It wouldn't just happen to come out now that SUlly is being mentiuoned for new jobs. That type of thing would have made the news when it happened.

I agree with you. In the tRant thread I mentioned that even as niche as college baseball is, if Sully was at all implicated in this, it would be all over ESPN.
ETA: Also, O'Sullivan spoke at the funeral so I highly doubt he was the cause/source of the issue

Hell, Canny was fooling around with an intern, nobody died, and he can't even find a job outside of high school baseball now. Sully wouldn't still be employed if all that happened. And even if he was, we wouldn't just now be hearing about it

He was having an affair with an intern for the football team while his wife was pregnant and texting the girl in the dugout during games. Doesn't really retract from my point as to how much bigger that rumor about Sully would be if there was any truth to it.
