Well, that same guy has more trips to Omaha by 2 trips than any other active coach. There's only one active coach, Corbin, who has multiple national titles, but he also only has 4 trips to Omaha. He, too, has some early exits in home regionals, once as the #1 overall national seed and went 2Q in a home regiomal a few years ago, getting waxed 15-1 by the 4 seed in one of those games (sound familiar). There is no perfect coach who hasn't had disappointing seasons.

I know Sully has had some disappointing finishes to seasons, but you're not going to find but maybe 1 coach who has done more than him. Y'all have been lucky to have him. if you try hard enough, it's really easy to paint any coach in a negative light as there are no Nick Sabans or Skip Bertmans that have dominated the sport and there haven't been since Skip retired 20 years ago.
