Some of them have egos so inflated that they'd rather give the title of "rivals" to teams they don't even play yearly, instead of the team to which they have lost 7 times in the last 5 years.

I am starting to see why they don't call us rivals. I wouldn't want to be rivals with a team we couldn't beat either.

154-71

And sadly for the conference thats the best winning percentage against Kentucky.

My great great grandpappy told me about some of those victories. Too bad I'm not old enough to remember them.

I actually do consider UT a rival. But they’re below UofL, Kansas (who i don’t hate, but just enjoy beating), and UNC. I don’t think of Duke in that way. But i also consider UT a football rival, and the series are similarly lopsided.

UT has beaten UK more than anyone else. UK has beaten UT more than they’ve beaten anyone else.

1. Louisville- for obvious reasons, plus I live in Louisville
2. Duke- Most competitive school to recruit against, history, and both of us have the same one and done style
3. UNC- another blue blood we’ve had great games against including the tournament
4. Tennessee- proximity and Vols usually sneak one on us each year
5. Florida- permanent home and away every year and usually have competed for the sec against us the most. Not so much recently tho

Me being a younger fan, this is how I see it

This exact thing happens every football season but the teams are reversed.

This. Can we all just admit Kentucky and Tennessee hate each other and one usually whips the shite out of the other in their preferred sport. Its fricking weird and I wish things were more even on borh court and field...the rivalry would spontaneously ignite. Its nasty as hell as it right now.

Is any Tennessee fan going to sit here and tell me there is anyone else on your basketball schedule you'd rather beat each year than Kentucky? Is any Kentucky fan going to sit here and tell me there is anyone else on our football schedule youd rather beat each year than Tennessee? Of course not.

So Tennessee, heres a big frick you and congrats

Not a Kentucky fan but as far as top SEC rivals goes its seems like it changes by decade.

80s - LSU
90s - Arkansas
00s - Florida
10s - Tennessee

It does. I think in the 70s it was UT with Bernie amd Ernie. 80s was LSU. 90s was Arkansas and then State. 00s was Florida.

This decade honestly no one stands out. Auburn looks poised to be it for the 20s.

But Tennessee good or bad is always satisfying to beat. Vawlz yall were 7-15 v UK this decade. Go ahead and throw that parade. Everyone else can come and go, but we'll always enjoy beating the shite out of Tennessee

VOLS were 8-12 vs Kentucky in the 2010s, thankfully Cal could build up quite a lead going up against Cuonzo.

We’ve won 8 of the last 13 and Prick will continue owning Cal as long as he’s here

I don't speak for all UT fans, but I agree with your sentiment. There is no more of a satisfying win than beating UK, especially in Rupp--rivalry talk aside--we both love to beat each other in any sport, but especially in the two sports that matter.

Prick has definitely given Cal fits.

Last nights meltdown was self inflicted thanks to Hagans bullshite. But Tennessee never quit.

I hate you guys, but Barnes said he had spoken with some of the areas affected around Nashville and said hed had the team out there to help out next week before the tournament. He asked them what they needed.

The answer? "Just go beat Kentucky." So a silver lining here is some people down there who have more important shite to worry about right now at least got a little happiness during an unimaginable time.

They're on several of the lists UK posters have provided. No other SEC team was listed on any of them.

I would imagine they are their biggest rival in the SEC.

I listed UT, Gaytors and LSU....I don't really consider Duke, Kansas, NC or Indiana as rivals per se since we don't play them regularly every season and since they are in different conferences I did list 3 of them only cause I hate em. We don't play Indiana at all so they are no longer a rival....but I don't like any teams North of the Mason Dixon.....period, they can all rot.
