I remember that, I was here...but that was nothing like tonite or how northern or northeastern schools riot. Did UT fans riot in 98? I don't remember. I was living back home in N.O. for the 03 and 07 NC's and it was just one big party.

Oh really? Someone was shot in the Kentucky riots last nite and is in critical condition. On top of that, property was destroyed.
There may have been a shooting after the Superbowl, but there were no riots.

Agreed. It wasn't like this is some huge upset. Just the opposite. Congrats UK but you were expected to win and it wasn't even as close as the score. See NC State vs Houston or Nova vs Georgetown.

It is embarrassing behavior.
UF celebrates championships by drinking in the streets and climbing light posts. My daughter was in 3 championship celebrations, and nothing like this happened in Gainesville. And UF had never won one in basketball.
