It was a 28 rpi...which makes it almost identical to UK this year. It also makes the people who scream about midweek games look even more idiotic. It’s mostly about conference games.

Tough deal for UK. One more win in the regular season or conference tournament seals the deal. Unfortunate for them as they are one of the top 64 teams. :(

Meh. I think they made a solid case for why they should be in and not be punished for playing in the SEC/playing a tough schedule in general.
But as one of the last potential SEC teams in, you can’t leave it up to the NCAA committee. They’re going to do what they can to “expand the brand” and sneak some non-Southern teams in there instead. It’s how we ended up in Gary one year.

LSU was 10-4 in midweek games. They sucked on the road. That’s why their RPI was 34 and not in the teens.

LSU has a better RPI than Vandy and USC. Not sure why you think it’s cute to single out LSU. USC had the lowest RPI of all the SEC teams to get a bid and got a 2 seed as well with an RPI of 43

It was actually 21. LINK UNC was left out with an RPI of 19 in, I think, 2015
