this is why playing a tough OOC schedule is pointless in the SEC

Tanner says conference records matter but his reasoning led to believe that all conference wins and losses were weighted equally. Beyond moronic. Then they line up the top 6 SEC teams on same side of bracket. They reward UF as the number 1 overall seed by having a possible super with another SEC team that beat them once at home in a competative series.

Yeah, that Tanner guy did a horrific job this year with the tournament(and I'm not talking about leaving us out). I think he has something against the SEC(even with him being the AD at one of its schools). No way he's that bad.

Yep. I expect Auburn to come out of their pod and if we win ours it will be a dogfight.

Good luck to all the SEC teams that got in, though. They will be well represented in Omaha.

Kentucky did get screwed. RPI ranking of 30, beat the Holy Hell out of Texas Tech (and yet they host a Regional). Northeastern and Oklahoma State had RPI way behind the Wildcats.

They were five games under .500 in SEC play. That’s not a mark worthy of earning an NCAA bid.

Good thing they stopped the game in 7, or you all might have gotten embarrassed!

Meanwhile Northeastern went 0-4 vs Tech and lost by a combined score of 56-12.

It's better than Northeastern beating up on a bunch of sub 100 RPI teams in the CAA.

They have a higher RPI than LSU, yet LSU is in as a 2 seed.

RPI is a joke when it's an SEC team.

They had a losing SEC record right?

LSU had insane injuries and still found a way to not have a losing SEC record.. and did work in the Tourney. I am surprised LSU was able to beat Miss St, SC, Florida, and Arkansas. Never would have thought that.

LSU is a underrated team. It depends if the team shows up. They can turn it on quick though.
