Cal has lost it...this team offense is putrid and horrid. I got laughed at by saying this team would probably lose 10 games this year. 3 years in a row of this bullshite...have you no joy watching Kentucky Basketball? I have none, and Cal is the reason and should step down...he flat out gets out coached in big time games (since 2015, he has a losing record vs top 25 teams). Enough is enough!

Cal can't coach.

Not harder than that.

I really question your basketball knowledge if you think that. I thought you were a basketball guy?

I'd take Tubby coaching with this talent any day! Tubby's problem, he could not recruit at the end of his tenure!

Cal can recruit, but can't coach worth a shite! I am serious, the Wildcat Nation is turning on him!

not really. Tubby actually had a semblance of half court offense within his program.

That's not true. Tubby was a damn good coach. He just couldn't recruit the kind of player Kentucky wants with regularity. When he was at UGA they played better for longer than with any other coach.

Cal needs an extension. It’s just a little bump in the road.

Do you think the years of the one and done kids made him lazy as a Coach?
He's had so many sure fire first rounders that only stayed one year. He just doesn't seem as active on the bench as he's been in the past.

Lulz, he has that taken care of. But, when he feels the anger from the Big Blue Nation...he may decide its not worth the hassle. Its about to get ugly in Lexington!

I gave up watching years ago.
I can handle watching the football team get blown out. Basketball, there is no excuse to lose as many games as Cal has been.

But remember, he's only our coach forever

I believe it was a 10-year, $100 million dollar contract. A year or two has passed on the deal. They cannot fire him even though they want to.

They gave the football coach a similar deal only for him to lose to Vanderbilt a few days later.

He gets an extension every time he wins 7 games. Little different set of expectations for football versus basketball

No, I don't think he knows how to coach offense at all. He relies on players breaking down the opposing player to create a shot....we don't have any players on this team that is capable of doing that! PLUS, we have 3 point shooters on our team that can't get any picks or screens to get them open.

I'm not sure, but I think coaches he's playing against now have better talent and he can't out talent people anymore, and it exposes his poor coaching ability.

We switched him to soccer with his obvious lack of basketball knowledge comment. He's now pioneersoccer.

He always seemed to me to be the best coach that could get a player to play so well without the basketball. Set picks, switch on defense and do the little things that make everyone better. I just don't see that anymore from him.
