It’s hasn’t been the same since the 2015 Final Four. He has always proven to be a great recruiter. However, we’re basically an NBA farm system. They play there one year and they’re gone.
I’ve said a million times I’d take Pitino back in a heartbeat. He’s the best coach since Rupp. Those 90’s teams were so enjoyable to watch. Cal just isn’t a great coach. He’s relied on his talent to get him over. There’s too many SEC schools that have gotten serious about their basketball teams and hired great coaches that we don’t run the conference anymore.
I’m not rooting against UK, but the hardships has got to force him to change.

Its super frustrating to keep getting outworked by other teams on effort. Even Oscar was messing around all over the place.

I just dont get it the offensive spacing is horrible and actually helped them double team Oscar. Then on pick and rolls he takes bad angles toward the goal that makes the pass too difficult.

Yep, plus, when Wheeler is at the point...teams pack the paint daring him to shoot.
Blows my mind that Cal can not run any sets to get CJ Frederick or Reeves the ball to catch and shoot the 3...expects the both of them to break their man down to hit a shot (not their game).

It looks like pick up game offense. Robic was the X’s and O’s Guy for Cal and since he left we look like a clown show. Cal’s time has passed. This team is a bunch of transfers, not five star talent. Cal can’t coach up players to play as a team. If UCLA hadn’t played crappy ball we’d have lost by thirty.

Cal runs 0 plays, it's just one on one basketball. This team is too talented to be this bad. This team has no alpha to lead.

The last couple years I've stopped following the basketball team for the most part.
Tubby got mediocre but didn't have any talent, Cal usually has one of the most talented rosters in the nation and routinely gets out coached.
But we're stuck with him.

I get zero enjoyment watching games. Us trying to score looks like it takes everything we have just for two points. I now expect to lose to teams with a pulse. It’s always “well next year he’ll have his guys.” I’m over it
