I'm fine with this.
State's biggest weaknesses are ball handling and 3pt defense and our best player for that comes back from suspension next game. This will also elevate our best scorer who has been forced into the point position to start the season and now he will be able to play his much more natural SG position.

Is the SEC losing all of the OOC games going to bite us hard in March?

certainly not gonna help unless we can out those in the good loss category but realistically these weren't all good loses

Is Auburn's SOS really that bad to be undefeated and behind teams with multiple losses?

It's not bad, they just haven't played any really good teams. They've played a bunch of solid mid-majors.
- Michigan State is 8-3.....but they've played 5 Top 62 teams. Auburn has played 0.
- Purdue is 7-4......but they've played 5 Top 48 teams. Auburn has played 0.
Once you are arguing whether a team is in the Top 10 or not it is hard to compare someone who has played 40% of their games against Top 50 teams and somebody who has played 0% of their games against Top 50 teams.
Also, KenPom isn't RPI, it measures how a team has played, not their resume wins and losses.

Enh, some of the losses, while not great, aren't end of the world bad. Western Kentucky and and La. Tech, for example, are wince worthy but they aren't that dire. ETSU looks to be a pretty decent team this year as well.
Besides, everyone is getting some black eyes in OOC play this season. Being ranked number one in the basketball polls this season is like being a Spinal Tap drummer. You know something bad is going to happen and it won't take long.

We are just like Clemson and Alabama football 2019. No wins over any good teams yet.

We jumped up a ton from that last game on offensive efficiency. Was crazy how big the leap was.

I am extremely concerned about the AU/NCST game tonight.

SEC is so weak this year in basketball. I'd be surprised if more than four teams make to the tournament.

If the Big 10 doesn't have several teams flake in January and February, they will probably be the best conference this year over the ACC. Ridiculous how many good teams are in that league this year.

The league is awful. Really, really bad. Expected after the run over the last 3-4 years.
Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky should all be quite a bit more talented next season than they are this season and you have to think those 3 bottom feeder schools this year improve as Buzz and Oats implement their systems. I don’t know how Stackhouse will do but they can’t get much worse.
Auburn will lose all those seniors which is tough but Cooper is unreal and if Okoro returns they should still be very very good.
Mizzou is on a bad path as a program. Georgia will eventually be decent as these freshmen get older.
I think both the MS schools have good coaches and they should be good most years.
Beginning to get worried about Frank at SC. Can’t seem to get traction there even with that FF run.
Not sure White is the answer at UF but they will make the tourney just about every year he’s there probably.
LSU will always have the players needed to win while Wade’s there.

Will depend on okoro and how the current class closes out to go with cooper.
