Do you really not remember the consensus on this board a few years ago that it was embarrassing for A&M that Sumlin, who had suspended a starter in June for the opening game, modified the suspension after our first game was changed because of a hurricane? They played the next week against Florida, and sat later against Louisiana Monroe or whoever.
At the time, this board thought it was VERY embarrassing.

Imagine being the ONLY player in college football that did an autograph session, was handed a one game suspension, and the player or coaching staff was not allowed to choose which game to sit out. Hell, even the guy who signed autographs with him (Boutte) got to choose a game to sit out.

1. It was against the rules. Cheating is when you break the rules. Johnny cheated, too, and also was punished for his cheating.
2. The IRS is not “looking into A&M.” They clarified a rule that changes how all schools, including A&M, organize NIL.
3. A&M has never “bought a player” despite what little Nick said. How about you quit swallowing Saban’s load? Maybe quit parroting something just because he said it in a room full of Bama boosters who he wanted to give more money to Bama NIL?
