First, it wasn’t Billy L who said Kelly was getting 15 million from LSU, it was multiple national sources.
Second, this doesn’t contradict that, unless the incentives are spelled out.

Brian Kelly is a great coach but he comes with quicks. He bailed on Cincy prior to their big Sugar bowl and is bailing on ND while the team is still hanging onto hope for the playoffs. He didn't give ND the chance to match the LSU offer which begs what is the underlying cause of Brian's ticket out of ND. I have no clue but it is more than money since he never had a conversation with ND about more money. Prior or post-LSU inquiry. It is an enigma.
