Sankey plans to implement a new SEC model for equitably scheduling all 16 teams to play each other much more frequently. Probably: 9 SEC games (4 or 5 at home in alternate years); no divisions or pods; 3 regular opponents (rivals) and rotate the other 12 opponents in 6 schedule slots (playing all 12 twice in 4 years); and the 2 teams with the best SEC W-L records play in the SEC title game. Playing 9 SEC and 3 non-SEC games still allows for 7-8 total home games and the FL-FSU, GA-GT, UK-UL, SC-CU rivalry games.

More often than not we beat Bama when we play them.

Son you got hella lots of work to do. Riley ran you into the ditch just being in this league will keep you there.
Less often would have been the correct answer.

Like I said 9 conference games guarantees one more loss to half the SEC, lower rankings for the bottom half, lower SOS for everyone, lower rankings across the board.

The ADs will never approve 9 game conf schedule.....

Pods alter the SEC to something that no one knows how it would work....

9 games are coming. You either get better or left behind. Like I said, you got work to do.

It doesn’t matter where OU goes. It will be a challenge no matter what. There is no simple scenario. Sooners will have to play everyone at some point. I don’t care where they go or who they get grouped with. Tired of the waiting. It’s like being constipated and waiting for that one turd to be the first to fall.

There is a 0% chance the league stays at 8 conference games. You might as well get used to the idea bc it's a question of 9 or 10 right now, not 8.

This may be the best solution. Tiebreakers will decide the top 2 teams pretty effectively most years, and you'll never have a 3 or 4 loss team in the SECCG. Plus it seems to maintain the most critical rivalries on an annual basis.

Not ideal, obviously, but as close as we're likely to get in this day and age.

Fixed vs rotational isn't a big deal. ALL rotating opponents will play each other twice within every four years. Besides, the actual fixed/rotations chart might not be the same as my example.
