LOL, really? owned LSU in everything except gymnastics?
So you lucked out and, to use your words, 'barely' won a football game completely dominated by LSU; you beat a basketball team that was on a 15 game losing streak, and 'barely' won the CWS.

Me in particular though? I never said anything like that after game 1. I think many were confident that we would at least get it to game 3.

Karma? That's why your team won the title- not because they have great coaching, a phenomenal pitching staff, and very good position players all over the field? 
Come on, man- give your team the credit they deserve. I hate losing as much as the next guy- but I know that was a quality staff we lost to, last night.
I hope they enjoy their title- because they certainly deserve it. I also hope more Florida fans show appreciation for them, next year. O'Sullivan has crafted a great program. They deserve to be playing in front of a packed house.

You know what's even worse than the Florida AD pulling their last minute bullshite? When Florida did win, their coach went on about how there were people dying and Florida wasn't scared and how bad LSU was for wanting the game played or moved to a reasonable location or date. He was ignoring the fact that Lousiana knows very well the risk of hurricanes, knows very well the tragedy that comes from them, and perhaps has more intestinal fortitude then Florida.
Butter Teeth went on and on about how disrespectful LSU was when the building right across from the stadium was a triage center after Katrina, ya know, when LSU went to Arizona to play right after. Or maybe he had forgotten when hurricane Gustav was in the gulf bearing down on LA and LSU still played their game as all of the fans had their cars packed with their belongings to evacuate when 00:00 was on the clock?
The simple truth is that Florida knew very damn well in advance that there was a possibility of a tropical storm interfering with the game being played and LSU was planning in advance to accommodate the gators so no one had to cancel. The gators decided sabotage the negotiations instead and opt to move the game to a later date, inconveniencing LSU by forcing them to cancel a game. Not only that, schools elsewhere played football games in the midst of the storm while Gainesville was drier than Tebow's dick.
So frick Florida for being assholes. frick them for swaying the SEC offices and the media by playing the victim card. frick their coach for being a piece of shite. And frick their fanbase for still bringing up this shite, win or lose, even though they know deep down inside how pathetic their administration is.

Nothing stupid there. I saw countless threads by LSU fans talking about how we were lucky just to squeak by game 1 and we were gonna get crushed games 2 & 3 facing Poche & Lange. I even saw some poor bastard not only wanting game 3, which is cool, but hoping we started Faedo so that LSU could win the series while humiliating our ace at the same time (And I told him nobody should hope to face Faedo
). Point is, there was plenty of shite talking not just about how LSU was going to win the next two games, but that it was basically a foregone conclusion. Don't even get met started on all of the bullshite about attendance and weather. But perhaps the # of posters being douches is higher in my head now than what it actually was? And there certainly were a number of good posters who respected UF & felt confident in their chances and was looking for a good series. It's just like they seemed to be the minority, IMO.

That's cool and I've responded to other posters who have said the same thing & I totally respect it. So, I'll call it quits on bringing up shite that's over with. You guys had a great team, it was just finally our year. But I think we both have plenty of good things to look forward with our players going into next year. And besides...you bastards already have 6 CWS Championships...there's being competitive and then there's just being greedy.
