I'll take two slamming of fists on table from the Bama HC.

This staff in Tuscaloosa reminds me more of Brian Harsin with each passing day.

Anyone who has ever worked with young people before knows this doesn’t work. I know coaching elite athletes in the SEC is way different, but the truth remains that you have to stay on them in order to make them improve. It’s not even necessarily that they’re lazy, it’s just that young people underestimate how important effort is in achievement. If you allow them to determine how things need to be done, they’ll choose the path of least resistance.

Saban understood this better than almost anyone. The difference between the Saban way and the DeBoer way is shown in the results.

There’s nothing to burn bro. 7 championships since ‘92. We are a fat and happy fanbase that’s likely gonna get a lot of Saturdays back over the next 20 years.

He thinks Ty was getting the ball out too late and not always climbing the pocket and is right to a certain degree.

But Proctor is never going to be able to handle elite edge guys at his current playing weight. If he were at 330 he’s a top 10 NFL pick, as of right now he’s just good for 3-5 seconds against those guys if the QB steps up.

Ok I’m gonna zag… in an ideal world what Womack is saying is correct. The best teams police themselves and hold themselves to a standard.

I’m not sure this bama team has the leadership or ability to do so, which is an issue.

I don’t disagree that they were prepared for what fsu ran… Gus really didn’t add new wrinkles… which means they were prepped and still got gashed. That would also scare the heck out of me

The statements throughout this thread are pretty much the exact opposite of what everyone associated with this program wanted to hear after a loss like that. I want to say that somebody should have pulled the staff aside and told them "Look, you can't say that in this situation" but the truth is that nobody should be having those thoughts in the first place.

The issue is it is so night and day from how Sabans staff would’ve reacted it makes it that much worse
I’d imagine some big boosters are blowing up Greg Byrne at the moment
