Sounds like you'll be settling on your 5th choice just like last time.

We "think" we know woodward offered riley. How bout this situation. After first meeting with riley's agent woodward realized riley wanted no part of the SEC and was likely headed to SC. It benefitted both parties to link riley's interest in LSU. riley's agent and sc could talk, no pressure. Woodward could go about quietly searching for his new coach.

That's possible. I am just going by what LSU fans have said that came from connected people and insiders. There are either an awful lot of lSU fans that have no idea what they are talking about or Riley was offered.

T this point, Sideways, it's best to just hunker down, shut your mouth, and let it all just play itself out!

In fairness to Sidewalk, he has kept a much more level head than most Tiger fans on here. he has always maintained who he wanted for coach, and I don't recall seeing him say definitively that anyone had been offered or accepted.

Maybe he has and I just missed it, but I will give him props on how he has handled it.

We have a few rational fans that realize that every little nugget of information doesn't mean that info will come to be fact. Some of us have a little fun with it. But, a lot realize that until the announcement is made and the coach is at the podium everything else is speculation. A very sizeable portion of the online fanbase is melting like Chernobyl though.

He's worn Orange...he's worn Crimson...now it's time for this man to wear Purple and Gold.

The coaching board is simply amazing

There is a serious debate over whether they'd want Dabo or not and whether he is an improvement over Ed O.

Many seem concerned with all the trolling that’s been aimed our way, acting as if our fans weren’t being completely obnoxious when it was reported that the Riley hire all but happened. I’m of the opinion we’ll get a strong coach and I very much look forward to future seasons.

And in fairness some of the more rabid irritating ones are only trolling and getting the exact reaction they want. It's all good and all for fun. LSU will be okay no matter who they get. We rarely get who we want. But if whoever goes to LSU doesn't work out you get rid of them and go looking for another one.

My favorite is the Rhule vs. Tomlin vs. Sean Peyton one.

O'Brien

This would partially explain our performance in the IB.

The arse-chin posts need to be cleaned up by the LSU posters.

Could be. Who would be next in line, or was he the first pick all along?
