Oh, I agree you’ll admit being wrong. But you know damn well you wouldn’t have sat there and said nothing.

If you were in the SEC West, you would have had at least 3 conference losses.

This might be overstating things a bit, and I actually hate hypotheticals that can't be proven.

However, Alabama and a focused, healthy Auburn would have given Oklahoma all they could handle, but it is impossible to say they would have beaten Oklahoma. I don't think anybody else in the West would have a chance to beat Oklahoma.

Put the top 10 teams in the BIG 12 against the Top 10 teams in the SEC, and I think the SEC is much tougher, though. Past Oklahoma matching up against Georgia (Could go either way) the matchups all the way down would be lopsided in the SEC's favor. Auburn/TCU, Alabama/OkieSt, LSU/Texas, MState/West Virginia....none would go to BIG 12 schools all the way down.

Explains why 4 other teams have more National Championships than Oklahoma.
Keep chasing Alabama and trying hard. Maybe you can work yourself up to 4th.

Maybe I missed it. I don't recall anybody claiming Georgia was the best team in the history of college football, unlike delusional Oklahoma fans.

Oh, and by the way, the article you linked clearly states it is only considering the last 80 years. How do you say a team is greatest of all time while laving 40 years or so out of the equation?

Nice try, but no cigar.

Dude, you can't even read your own writing.

The poster predicted that Fields would become the starter. The poster didn't say that starting Fields was the plan.

You are a joke.

What?

You quoted me as say

quote:

Big 12 mold/AR QB

Which I NEVER said you POS.Actual context was

quote:

break the mold of a Big 12/AR QB

Either you're completely illiterate or a lying POS or probably a combination of both.

So he will surpass Fromm and start next year? Is that what you are saying?

I was responding to him, and apparently a few others who think that Fields could overtake Fromm. I said it was ridiculous and that Fromm would be the starter, so I'm glad we agree.

There is going to be a point sometime next season where Kirby has to make a tough decision. As of right now, Jake Fromm can do just enough not to cost you a football game. That's saying a lot for a true freshman. You can't really say the same about Jalen Hurts. Right now, I think Fromm is much better than Hurts.

However, given the fact that Georgia's D will likely take a step back next season, in addition to Chubb and Michel going to the NFL, we are probably going to have to lean on the qb next year a lot more to win games. Fields could be the guy if Fromm isn't.

By the time Fromm is a junior and Fields is a sophomore, it should be a straight up competition and the best man wins, which will likely be Fields.

LSU was never mentioned. Just don't overhype the kids potential when he hasn't touched a college field yet
