I am seeing a Nick type coach in BR again and enjoying it greatly

To beat Bama back to back would be awesome

Nothing about doing that is easy but I can see LSU being favored in that game at Bama

Imagine losing to a team so much in your history that you're excited about beating them twice in a row.

Bama went 11-2 with both losses being on the last plays of the game and won the sugar bowl last season.

LSU went 10-4 last season with 3 blowout losses.

I don't think that we are there yet.

everyone in BR would love to beat Bama back to back to start the slide of Bama back to the 2nd best team in the SEC West

When LSU has 2 QB’s that would start for Bama this year that speaks volumes of the start of the Bama slide back

Beat Bama Back to Back

I like it

You are not an old LSU fan. You are either a troll or stupid. Alabama isn't going anywhere.

Unless LSU starts looking at all games the way they do Bama they will drop a couple they shouldn't every year. 2019 was able to overcome it because they were so good but this team isn't 2019. Auburn has done this for decades and is why they went from 57-2010 without a title. Beat Bama but lose to State. LSU beat Bama last year and didn't give two fricks about A&M when a champion would go out and dominate them. I knew LSU had no chance against UGA either. Not only was UGA far superior as a team but LSU had already won it's "championship".

LSU was supposed to go 6-6 but now going 10-4 was a problem.

I love it when casuals move the goalposts.

alabama won't be down until they lose 3 regular season games. then you can talk about it. At nick's age he can't afford to slip, but he can keep going as long as he doesn't slip.

NOw, the competition is really heating up. when you look at the coaches he has to compete against now in the west - kelly, freeze, kiffin. jimbo is good, but not what he was, imo. Still, he gets talent in college station. pittman can threaten, but he has problems getting enough talent. he does have a great qb this year. Moo St. is starting over. then he's got kirby in the east.

saban has always been good about finding guys to fill a position of need. it's when he couldn't find his qb that his teams struggled. that's what it looks like this year.

i know so many of us are suffering from saban fatigue, and will be relieved when he fades out. it doesn't happen until it happens. failure to win the west this year and miss the playoffs would be big.

It all depends on how things shake out. I believe Bama will be stronger on both lines of scrimmage this year. That means a lot. I believe our coordinators will be better. If, and it is a big if, we get a QB that will play winning football the talent is there to support. The scheudle is much more favorable, having Texas, LSU, UT, Arkansas, and Ole Miss at home. Keep in mind when Bama walks out on that field they will do so with 3 of the top 6 recruiting classes of all time. Can we execute, coach, and meld that talent into a championship team? Who knows, but we are several months away from finding out.

I am here for the excitement that a fanbase has in the offseason but....

UGA is the standard, Bama is still second.

If a 5 point win is a beatdown, what did you call the year before?
