You gotta cancel the game. Even if he survives no way the players are in the right head space to finish

Chest compressions are hopeully helping push blood through heart. Epi jumpstarts the heart. Also, you can give it directly to heart in worst case scenarios.

Because epinephrine restarts the heart beat. Chest compressions are essentially mechanical heartbeats. You compress the heart to literally pump the blood to the brain and vital organs.
Epinephrine is adrenaline.

Yep. Football is so secondary at this point.

I know people don't care for Booger...but he has been pretty spot on tonight.

I’m choosing to believe no news is good news. That’s my hope.

I just think they won't say anything until he has been administered at the hospital and will let medical staff provide brief update. If worst case, then I guess we will hear from Bills front office instead.

My guess this game is done for the night. Nobody especially on the Bills side ready to play football after watching their teammate get shocked on the field.

It should be. Everyone is just waiting to hear if he's going to pull through.

Typically good. That means they're still working on him. Which would mean there's still something to work. His family is with him. No need to wait to inform the family if he were dead.

Not true. There are two components to CPR, breathing and circulation of blood from the heart. If someone has a pulse but isn’t breathing you deliver oxygen without the chest compressions. I.e. you give them mouth to mouth or with a bag. That sounds like what they were doing. It is still considered CPR. That is why when you assess someone you have to check their pulse AND see if they are breathing.

You are correct, my mind goes straight to chest compressions when I hear CPR. The P is there for a reason, I was wrong.

I watch 2-3 air ambulances land on the roof of the main campus daily. It's basically 7-8 blocks away and that's where they took him.

It had to be the impact that caused this. These players get a physical from head to toe at least twice a year. That hit caused something.

They are going to cancel this game. Goodell/ESPN is trying to milk as many commercials as they can out of this before the pull the plug. It should have been cancelled 20 minutes ago.

I wholeheartedly disagree. There’s a lot of good people on and off this board. Some people are stupid because it’s anonymous, but I’d imagine the majority here actually are pretty good people. Good vibes only right now bud

Hits to the chest can cause the heart to stop.

It is bad news.
