When I was a youngster, we would visit grandparents in the Florida panhandle every summer. I vowed to live there once I became an adult. I did and have enjoyed the life here :cheers:

Yes, I did a 2 week rte 66 road trip last May solo. I really enjoyed it. Did what I wanted, when I wanted, how long I wanted. Sometimes I feel I'm being selfish, but why drag someone else along who isn't really enjoying it? Had a lady at one of my stops tell me that there's only so many old gas stations and motels one could stand to look at. It reaffirmed my decision to travel alone :lol:

I enjoy road trips and there is so much to see right here. The only foreign trip I would consider would be Ireland or a Mediterranean cruise.
