Just to be clear: South Carolina and Mizzou have won a divisional title more recently than Tennessee. And LSU has 3 national titles since TN won this conference.

I wouldn't bet against ANY team that had PERKINS on it's roster.
Throw out everything you know about what your team has been able to do against other teams. He is the enigma. You really don't know how you will perform until it happens.
For the UT game, we simply hadn't figured out just how disruptive he was.
But like Kiffin, if you ask Saban and Pittman what the difference was, there would be no hesitation.

LSU is hoping things fall their way so that when LSU plays Georgia there’s a real chance if they win they end up in the Playoffs. It will make that game so much more fun.
Realistically we know we need a lot of help to get to that. Nobody at LSU expected to be in this situation, so crying is not accurate. We are very happy with being this close after the way Coach O’s team ended in 2021.
And we mix up the booze with cheap and expensive because we’re on a budget

Yes, this season certainly was an enormous disappointment as we didn't even get close to living up to our potential
