It’s about relationships. He’s talked about this. He can build better relationships with his recruits and players because they’re typically in a closer vicinity to LSU than at Notre Dame.
Literally the same reason. Joe Brady is getting credit and Joe Sloan is getting credit. Only difference is, this time we lost the one not getting the credit.

I saw him in the state championship game and every play was “Jackson House on the play” he was the whole team. Great athlete.

It’s more about the surprise of being in that position. We’re a bit dramatic. The sky is falling is our normal attitude and we actually got an optimistic look to the future under Brian Kelly’s leadership.
That’s not clear….
LSU is hoping things fall their way so that when LSU plays Georgia there’s a real chance if they win they end up in the Playoffs. It will make that game so much more fun.
Realistically we know we need a lot of help to get to that. Nobody at LSU expected to be in this situation, so crying is not accurate. We are very happy with being this close after the way Coach O’s team ended in 2021.
And we mix up the booze with cheap and expensive because we’re on a budget
That’s clear

Most coaches aren’t going to leave a school a day or 2 before National Signing Day. Expect hires soon after.
He needs to get a vasectomy if he’s gonna stay an analyst for the rest of his career.
