Really? And yet opposing schools are calling for the coach and a player to be dismissed on their own supposition? Nice work, lawyer.

No one seriously thinks that man. Oates is a prick but he is a damn good coach.

Miller is a freaking key state witness in all this shite, come on man you could see that shite from Mobile, at night in the fog. It’s obvious as hell. It’s the only move

Yet you're questioning the Tuscaloosa DA that said they don't have any evidence to charge him with anything. They lit up the player that WAS involved. You think they looked the other way for the other guy? Did they pull up stat sheets to make a charge?

Dude, I question every DA on anything public and a lot of them are or were very very good friends of mine. Lol.

Again, the real truth of this is that Miller has already turned state’s evidence. Should the DA have agreed to this deal, who knows, but if I were his advisor I would have recommend it.

Did the fact that Miller has a chance to be a lottery pick and is an active star on the bama team influence the DA on this, of course it did. It’s a win win for everyone.

That’s the way it works, not just in Tuscaloosa but in Mobile, Pascagoula, Pensacola, Baton Rouge and everywhere else in America.

You shouldn't believe him. His daddy may have been an attorney but he grew up in the Spring Hill area of Mobile. He grew up in a very privileged area and falls back on that for credibility.

Closest he's ever been to legal expertise is probably the [quote]the Long mansion or Dr. Wallace's mansion off of Tuthill Avenu

Somebody knows Mobile/Springhill well.

I’m an attorney too and said the same thing from the minute we knew he was involved. It was pretty damn obvious

Link or is this supposition on your part? He participated in the questioning and cooperated with law enforcement. You can cooperate with law enforcement and still be charged. You, councilor, are trying this case in the court of public opinion, which is not a good look.

I’ve worked in law enforcement 15 years and I would’ve at the very least charged him with accessory to murder even though charges could potentially be dropped or reduced dependent upon the cooperation

The DA has already said on the record there was no crime he could be charged with IIRC. This suggestion he "blocked" the other car in to facilitate an execution is absurd based on the facts that have been released.

How would he be charged as an accessory as he didn't own the gun, it was a legal weapon owned by Miles, and Miller's twice removed from actually giving it to the shooter?

It would be almost if not malpractice, even if one of them is a CI he still gets charged initially. They always charge everyone up front and cut deals, drop charges make them witnesses etc, later. (Even in the case I handled where the Judge’s son was involved he was charged. We got him off later.)

So you guys love to overcharge everyone in sight and let people prove their innocence later. In the meantime, these people who get overcharged get to spend their life savings sending your kids to college. The American judicial system is just another example of cooperate greed.

What if they willingly cooperate? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of charging them?

The lack of information is only making it worse. The DA needs to come out with an explanation even if it’s bs like we are still investigating

The part where the DA said “he didn’t commit a crime” wasn’t good enough, I guess.
