As a LSU fan it is hard to talk Bama football

Reason - hate

I am 63 so I lived through the Bear years !

Nick came to LSU and we win a BCS - 2003 - sorry USC

Nick leaves LSU and Les shows up

Nick shows up in Bama of all places

We win a BCS - 2007 - and we beat Nick

Nick wins
Nick wins
Les wins
Les wins - Nicks win the big one
Nick wins
Nick wins
Nick wins

So what we have in Baton Rouge is the double nickel

Bama wins and Nick beats Les

I love it - adds to the flavor of the game

So 2015

Bama has lost to Ole Miss 7-1

LSU - 7-0

Bama is average on O above average on D

LSU has LF7 and one of the better OL in the program
history - maybe not the best OL but close and LSU is
average on D

The real game line will be about Bama stopping LF7
and what they have to do to stop LF7 - Lsu fans know
that if needed B Harris can do what is needed if Bama sells out to stop LF7

LSU - can we handle the Bama rushing attack and put pressure on the Bama QB

LSU wins if LF7 gains 150 yards and B Harris passes for 250 yards

Bama wins if they keep LF7 under 100 and pressure
B Harris into int's and slow our passing game

who will rush the ball and stop the run

Geaux Tigers

That's why it's so great. Unstoppable force vs immovable object. I think LSU gets around 150-200 on the ground, but this game is decided based on Brandon Harris. If he can make plays through the air, I think LSU can win.

Bama will focus on shutting down LF7 and force Harris to beat them through the air. Bama has the hosses on D to do it. We shall see.

If LSU is going to move the ball effectively, it hinges on BH and his legs.

I think it's a toss up. I could see any team winning with any type of stats. It really is a coin toss.

I doubt it. When have Yall stacked the box in recent memory? Saban defends the run without stacking the box usually.

I'm personally glad Collins won't be flying in there this year.

Not trolling I sincerely believe LSU wins just because of fournette. A legend like that doesnt come through college fb very often. Another thing working for us is coker is an average qb like harris is. If they had mccarron this would go differently

Could quite possibly come down to a Coker vs Harris type of a game. Going to be a true slobberknocker and I can't wait to watch it.

If Lsu wins... I say they win with Coker. (With a little help from Griffith)...

I think LSU will be fine if BH level of play at least matches that of Anthony Jennings' last year.

I am nervous about the 3rd phase of the game. However, I love seeing Guice returning kick offs and I enjoyed D. Jackson on punt return.

Above all, I look forward to another instant classic this game typically produces.

This game won't be close as LSU-Bama games go. LSU pulls it out by two touchdowns due to turnovers and the simple inability to stop Fournette and Guice. Brandon Harris gets a couple of touchdown passes in there as well. Special teams probably a wash.

It did when LSU played the vaunted defense of Florida. Same crap Florida fans were saying 2 weeks ago, 'Our D is awesome' Fournette runs it over.

I think what people are forgetting is that Bamas offense is in a total rebuilding mode this yr, with the exception of Henry. Who basically has to come to a complete stop to make any sort of cut.

I like LSUs chances.

Alabama wins if we keep Fournette to under 150 yards.

I know Harris has improved, but I can't help but wonder how he will respond to the crowd at BDS. I know last year Blake Sims looked like a world beater at home, but he couldn't get it together in hostile environments. Will Harris play the same on the road as he does at home? LSU has had the benefit of a fairly easy road schedule.

I believe Bama will win this game, but I believe this as someone whose bias creeps in at certain spots and leads me to conclude we can do something we might not be able to do.

The objective pick is LSU, but in a very close game. People who think LSU blows us out because of LF really don't get it. I don't care how great you are, when you face a great run defense, one running back, even Barry Sanders or Herschel Walker, can't win the game by himself. He HAS to have the qb hit some long play action to force the defense to cover the field. I don't care that LSU has an excellent OL and an amazing RB, you are not going to impose your will on this Bama front 7 UNLESS you can make them respect the pass.

It is on the other side of the ball where I'm worried. We absolutely can't afford those negative plays and penalties against a top team like LSU. Our offense is not good enough and their defense is not weak enough for us to maintain drives when we have 1st and 15 or 2nd and 12.

possible but i doubt it. crowd was very loud at moo state and had thousands with their dumb cow bells and it was a close game. I think he'll do fine in BDS as long as we're not the ones needing points in the 4th
