That is how you win a Heisman. Lead by getting it done each game. LSU quarterback couldn't get it done but LSU fans saying the defense cost LSU the game. How is that possible if each team had offense that good then How the heck did LSU lose THREE games this year? In other words, LSU offense was stopped from time to time and the other team scored more points on offense /defense turnovers. I think Washington quarterback deserved the Heisman.
The Heisman is not a team award. The sooner you smooth-brained folks realize this, the sooner it will make sense to you. Also, identify the game where JD was as bad as Penix was against ASU...

What if Daniels lost 10 games and still had the same stats he had this season? Does he still "deserve" it?
What if AU didn't have 2 spies on 4th and 31?

Coach O is a D Line Coach, Ensminger is a Tight Ends Coach, Joe Aleva is a liar and a thief, The Running Backs Coach/Recruiting coordinator is a fraud, the Tiger Bowl is a waste of Bama prep time, and the analysts seems like they have spent more time playing Candy Crush than breaking down film on Bama.
Until F King Alexander has the guts to get rid of Aleva, we will never have a true search for a Head Coach. Until we get that Head Coach, we will never get an innovative Offensive Coordinator. Until then, we will never field a team that effectively utilizes the talent we have on offense.
Don't get me wrong, I like Coach O and Steve Ensminger because they love LSU. But love for LSU is simply not enough.

It seems he had it in his head to go hurry-up anytime we had a little success. That may have seemed like a good idea during preparation week but obviously it was hurting us during the game. But he was too stubborn to quit doing it. It resulted in 0 points and our defense being worn down.

With Jimbo or Tom Herman?
I think we are better off with Coach O. After we lost a tough game on the road we bounce back with a solid win against UGA and avoid the falling in a trap game against MSU.
Conversely, with a bye to prepare for MSU, Jimbo’s team came out flat and unfocused. They were practically sleepwalking through the first three quarters. Tom Herman’s team couldn’t avoid the letdown game after their solid win last week.
I think we are at least a two loss team with either one of those. I’m grateful for OUR Coach.
Cheers to Coach O and Geaux Tigers!

Most of us up here dont expect Coach Orgeron to make it to 2019. Not with how the boosters are reacting. Much like you all. Defeated and depressed.
As they say, "what has to happen eventually, needs to happen immediately." Did we not learn anything from waiting too long to fire CLM?

So? We are LSU Tigers! Grow up you fricking snowflakes
Yeah, and we took a loss from 2 schools we had no business losing to and a loss from the weakest Bama team we have seen in recent history.
I'm sorry but "We are LSU Tigers!" doesn't automatically equate to a win. We cannot continue to be out-coached and out-schemed if we want to be competitive against the coaches in our division... And Troy.

We will have to back the Brinks truck up to Dabo's front door.

It’s going to be interesting when O and the local media start talking about how much we lost from this year’s team. Especially since the reason we struggled this season was due to “having to play so many Freshmen.” I bet these same freshmen will still be young next year.
Exactly. We lost a golden opportunity to get Brennan some meaningful playing time after it was obvious our ultimate goals for this season were out of reach.
Who knows, Brennan may have connected on those bombs to Chalk in Bama had the reigns been given to him after the Troy loss.
I do not like Saban but I do like how he benched his struggling 5th year senior in game 1 of last year for a true freshman. Coach O hasn't shown he has the guts to make a move like that. We still do not know if Brennan has a short-term memory after throwing a pick because he has never taken a subsequent snap.
Coach O is an awesome motivator and a solid rep for LSU. However, if he continues to coach scared, I'm afraid we are in for some disappointing seasons ahead.
Can Orgeron survive next season?

CBS is saying it's a definite possibility for Gus to leave for Arkansas. They said Auburn will go all in for Lane Kiffin. If this happens, next year we will have to face:
Miami: Mark Richt
Florida: Dan Mullen
Georgia: Kirby Smart
Auburn: Lane Kiffin
Arkansas: Gus Malzahn
Alabama: Nick Saban
Texas A&M: Jimbo Fisher
This schedule is brutal even with a seasoned QB and a proven coach. We enter next year with neither. Thanks a lot Joe Alleva.
