Why is this just limited to college football? This is the only sport that has an issue with someone being in the draft and not getting drafted and returning to college.
Baseball- high school kids get drafted and go to college to play the sport all the time. Also players that are draft eligible while in college get drafted and end up going back to college.
So in your terms because they got drafted they are professionals but still able to play COLLEGE baseball.
