Yall typically recruit very well at that position, in today's age that means someone is most likely going to leave. Unfortunate but just part of it. Who are your other qbs on the roster

paying more for players than they are worth will do that
It just means more in the B1G.

I have often said money will decide who rules college football and the B1G has more of it than anyone else.

Anyway, you have the combination of Seth McLaughlin and Bill O'Buttchin, you guys are royally fricked
If he is good enough for Belichick and Saban, then he is good enough for Ohio State.

Air Noland, another freshman was the most likely starter but he might transfer out. I hope not because I think he can be great. Urban could talk great QBs into playing backup and wait for their chance. No idea if Day can do the same.

Have to assume noland is pissed. You're the guy all year and now they pony up to get someone else. Don't get why they wouldn't use that money elsewhere

If he's better, he'll play. If he isn't, he won't. If that bothers him, he picked the wrong school.

Definitely not. But it was super close to being UGA.

They are using money elsewhere… Judkins/ McLaughlin/Downs. They’re throwing around a lot of money right now.

couldn't win a championship with Belichick and Tom Brady or with saban and Bryce Young. Hey if you are happy to have him, I'm happy for you

Man oh man.....I've never heard of anything like this in CFB. Every day this month it seems like Ohio State is doing the impossible in the portal. Grabbing the #1 QB , the leading rusher for 2 years in the SEC, a QB who guided K-State to a league championship, and an Alabama safety. There is another one whose name escapes me...... But that's not the craziest thing.... How Ryan Day talked 10 NFL draftees back is beyond comprehension.... They have virtually their entire starting team back except for Marvin Harrison. There are numerous Ist and 2nd round picks and if RD doesn't win it all this year he should be fired.

This talking point is going to make y'all look pretty stupid if he wins one with Day and Will Howard.

Bryce wasn't much. No one was winning anything with him, Heisman or no Heisman.

I trust coach knows what he is doing.

We were close to hiring the Kentucky OC. I prefer what we have.
