Petrino may not have played Dyer's recruiting game, but he still welcomed him the the Louisville roster with open arms.

Since Raekwon and Emmons didn't qualify, any chance Gus would release Jovon to Bama?

Petrino didn't play anyone's recruiting game, that was part of the problem

Dyer's condition of committing was bringing in his worthless fat friend Dakota Mosley. We wouldn't offer him a full ride the entire time. We offered him one of those upgraded walkon spots and Dyer was butthurt. We offered Mosley a scholly on the 11th hour to frick with Auburn so you guys had to offer him one too. It was beautiful and classic sleazeball Petrino shite.

Saban has been known to take on a few special projects...might be worth a shot.

So Petrino didnt recruit him, yet he offered scholarships to both him and dakota?
Interesting spins...

Amazing isn't it
I'd be upset if we didn't offer a guy either and he ended up as the MVP of a NC team... even if he got pulled over for speeding and marijuana after he was kicked out of Auburn.

I'm not sure how you interpreted what he said as we didn't recruit him. Petrino just did a lazy job at it, which isn't that hard to imagine when you look at how poorly he has done as a whole.

Of course he recruited him. When the recruit is in your home state, you hear all about it constantly. It was well known that Dyer was campaigning for Fat Mosley to be offered a scholly (he was slow, fat, and dumb) and Petrino wouldn't do it. One of our TE's fell through the night before signing day, and Petrino offered Mosley late that night
I'm pretty sure we did ok at running back anyway.

What do they have to do with Dyer? Completely different time frame/coach.

No idea why I typed them, guess its bc I just read an article on Collins. I stand corrected. I believe it was Knile Davis.

Haha and what's funny is this has nothing to do with Dyer's behavior
