Great take. I'm shocked you aren't a professional analyst. You have really great insight.

I would say LSU is no where near UK and USC on pass rush. LSU should look pedestrian compared to the other two. The Lsu D in general will be a big step down from what the OM O has seen the last 2 weeks.

On the Flip side the LSU passing will be the biggest test we have faced. I do think we will make Nuss uncomfortable with constant pressure. Similar to USC he will make some bad decisions.

Pretty solid for a rebuild.

Hats off to LSU for allowing a 3 year rebuilt in the age of NIL.

Difference in programs like LSU and Bama... Bama would never accept that.

You’re a little overconfident there buddy. LSU’s defensive line is one of the best in the country at bringing pressure. They are actually ranked #4 in that category right now. That will not bode well for your beat up OL. And you think you’re gonna get a lot of pressure against our OL, who is one of the best in the country at QB protection? Are you even watching the football games every weekend and looking at the data? The only part of the team that is not up to standards is the defensive backs. And you will have your success against them. But our DL will have some success as well.

Against who though?

Lets look at usc, they lost their passing attack at half when the starting qb went out. They went 1 dimensional which changed the game.

Dart vs USC
On four quarterback hurries from South Carolina, Dart was sacked once. He avoiding the rush by running for 44 yards on eight carries. He also completed 14 of his 27 passes (51.8%) for 285 yards.

Nuss vs USC

Nussmeier also threw for 285 yards against the Gamecocks. But he completed 24 of his 40 passes (60%) and threw two touchdowns.

However, Nussmeier was sacked twice and ran for -24 net yards on two carries. South Carolina’s defense pressured him six times.

2 things. LSU is no USC when it comes to D.

OM got after the starting qb all 4 quarters.

healthy,

Not even close. We have 1 wr out with 2 other starting WRs questionable, a starting LB out, and our freshman phenom rb is coming off an injury. It’s like we got even more banged up in the bye week

I will never understand why anyone would willingly listen to him. Dude is a complete and total clown but I will give him props for somehow sustaining a career by doing nothing but talking in circles and making the most lazy generalizations imaginable.

First off Sellers is hot dog shite. Ashford is better imo. SC had guys open all day Sat….Sellers couldn’t hit them for shite. The problem for you is we actually have a quarterback that can get the ball to those guys. Your secondary better be ready.

In all honesty, I really don’t care what happened in the SC game. It’s about what we have seen as far as progression from the first game to the last, and this defensive line is light years ahead of where they were last year. Here’s the way I look at it. The OL for LSU and the DL for Ole Miss is a wash. Your OL is not going to be able to match our defensive line. They are to beat up. I think it’s going to make the whole difference in the game. But what do I really know …that’s why we play the game, crazy things happen in this rivalry.

This is being a little dramatic. If Durham is out, that will be a big loss. Having Perkins out does suck, but Weeks has filled in really nicely there and the pressure of where to put Perkins and to try to make him fit is now off. I don’t think that it’s gonna be a bad thing for our defense. We are going to have four of our top 5 leading pass catchers available for this game. Daniels is number four on that list who you are referring to as out. Parker is just a true freshman. Zavion Thomas can definitely step up.

Did anyone catch the announcers talking about how Ole Miss has been practicing?

So if anyone's been following Ole Miss you know that we've been having issues with holding in the secondary. So apparently the coaches taped tennis balls to the cornerbacks and safety's hands. That way they could still bat the ball away and play defense, but they weren't able to grab anything.

I thought it was really fascinating and I was wondering s*** why not do that with offensive lineman and therefore prevent holding?

But yeah we had way less penalties after practicing that way.

I predict that Ole Miss will give up three or four third and longs or fourth and longs due to our secondary.

We will extend some plays with past interference, there will be flopping, dart will have a pretty good game but he will get pressured and sacked at least four times. Ole Miss defense will sack nuss 3+ times.

Harris will probably not be 100%, but I'm truly not worried about that with all the other options that we have. In fact, I almost prefer that so we can spread the ball around.

It looks like are starting running back. Parish is questionable and our backup Matt Jones is doubtful.

Everyone's been waiting to see Ulysses Bentley and Amos. Maybe we finally will.

He’s signed a memorandum of understanding. He knows what will happen.

We also aren’t at home, coming off a bye, etc.

Good to see an Ole Miss fan who recognizes how pathetic the Rebels program has been historically.

I fully expect ole miss to lead until the final minutes. Basically going to be like last year except switched teams. That being said I’m hammering LSU +3.5
