Prayers for Jordan and his family. Hope he has a speedy recovery

It appears he was operating a skid steer that caught on fire. Those things are a bitch to get out of even when they are not on fire.

No one is going to laugh at someone ending up in critical condition at a burn unit. Come on now.

Is that Lampasas on that brush truck? I know the Shipleys have a ranch real estate business in Burnet County, and live somewhere around Burnet or Marble Falls. I've done business with some of their clients, but not them directly. I can try to find out some details from FD buddies.

They are still in the North Central Texas area around Burnet last I heard. That's where Jordan went to school when his dad was coaching and where Jordan and his family moved to once his playing days were done.

He turned over a skid steer at his ranch in Burnet. Fuel likely ignited on the manifold and burned him pretty bad. A worker extracted him from the skid steer and he was lifeflighted to Dell. 3rd degree burns on 20% of his body.

This is when you put rivalries aside and pray for the guy that will need multiple surgeries and go through a lot of pain.

Yeah, it's Lampasas. That pic is mine though, not of Jordan's accident.

Yeah, it's Lampasas

I lived in Marble Falls for about 15 years, and still have an office and house there. Heading down tomorrow, gonna go right thru Lampasas. I'm there so often, I didn't even change my DL address when I moved. We probably have mutual FB friends

Good to see he's doing well. I asked a few FD friends if they'd heard any details, but nothing yet.
