He looks a lot better.

PSU, however, will be the real test. If he can still stay in the pocket and go through progressions in that environment, I will be happy.

Don’t you dis Akron! They are a powerhouse compared to Kent State lol.

Kent St would have been a much tougher opponent.

Maybe you should stick to being a fake insider.

Yes, and it was also the largest margin of victory for Auburn ever vs LSU.

Amazing what playing a bad defense will do for your QB abilities.

again it's akron, but the fact that he went through all of his progressions and threw to tank as his fifth option on that one play blew my mind

You’re probably right. Penn state will show us if he’s ready to be elite.

It'll be a good test, for sure. I'm really looking forward to that game.

I think it could go off the rails. I liked the way he looked in the first game, but it is hard to break old habits, especially when you are getting pressured on a much greater level.

Win or lose, we need to see that he does not regress to some of his bad habits. I really want him to succeed, and hope to see him improve -- something I did not see from his freshman to sophomore year.

It is not all on Nix, but without him playing well it will be a very rough year.

He had a really nice game. We'll see where it leads

Probably won't lead to him paying child support.

Bo always had the potential to be a good QB but Malzahn is notorious for driving high school QB’s into the ground. None of them have ever been successful. He’s always had to rely on JUCO players.

Examples….

Kiel Frazier, Jeremy Johnson, Sean White, Joey Gatewood, and then Bo Nix for two years.

Now Harsin gets to coach him for two years so maybe he’ll turn it around but it’s hard to coach away two years of bad habits.

Jordan Palmer said, "This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He's focused. He's having fun. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a dark horse for the Heisman."

The good news for AU is Pat Nix has another son playing QB and he will surely sign with the Barn in the coming years.

I can’t believe Auburn thought they were too good for Gus Malzahn. 2 years from now you’ll be on Twitter begging for Gus to comeback. I’m not sure why their opinion of their program is so high…it’s Auburn.
