Good lord. Those field boxes are going to basically be brick ovens until mid October.

They absolutely make no sense, are eye sores, and no way will you be able to enjoy watching a game. It's a really dumb concept.

I think the worst part of this is the barstools. Imagine paying a premium price for this and having to sit in the equivalent of a bleacher for 4 hours.

They are not a hit with Auburn fans at all. I am betting this will get scrapped based on all the feedback I am seeing.
Basically, canvassing fan base reaction before inking anything permanent in the way of renovation plans. Jacobs loved to "go back to the drawing board" and did it so damn long that nothing of much consequence ever got complete on JHS except for the AubieTron.

well the gold standard of party seating did indeed originate at Vaught-Hemingway some years ago
The guy partly responsible for this is Paris Buchanan, the former Associate AD of marketing and fan experience for Ole Miss who is now the Senior Associate AD of Fan Experience for.....Auburn.

So a carved out section of an end zone bricked in with a pest control ad.
Can’t wait to see the yellaWood urinals.
————-
Sleeze must have been turned down for the “escort service” ad for recruits?
P.S. it’s auburn, urinals not needed.

I swear Jay Jacobs had an account here. Some of his moves were straight off of the Rant.

Y’all got that cool eagle thing. Be better!

Both Auburn and Alabama need to pull their sideline seats in about 30 yards on each side of the field so that you can see the game.

Honestly that looks like a terrible set up. Imagine paying to sit in the hot sun near the field with no cross breeze and some fans set up on the walls.
Our sports bar concept is a better deal. I'm probably going to try to hang out there one game this year.

I still have no idea what Auburn saw in John Cohen. Not saying this is totally his fault but it does look eerily similar to some cheep looking things that were introduced at Davis Wade under his watch.
This guy had no business going from the dugout to the AD’s chair in 2016, and I’m not really sure what he did at State to warrant being hired away.
There is not a single State fan that would take that guy back. All he did was fail to keep successful coaches in town, never get a hire right on his first try, and inspire years worth of apathy among the fan base.
It is not a coincidence that State’s NIL funds and ticket sales both increased once that guy left.

That is just simply terrible in so many ways. I'm not sure where to start. Ugly and impractical.

If this is real - and I have a hard time believing that even AU could be so tacky- it’s the ugliest dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

I hate “luxury seating” go to the game, stand and yell for 60 minutes. If that doesn’t appeal to you go support an NFL team instead of taking up space and killing the atmosphere
