He was only going to play one half against Rice anyway. And if there was evidence he took as much as $1, he'd have gotten a lot worse.

1. The half game suspension is stupid and makes the NCAA look bad.
2. 12.5.2.2 rule (the reason for the half suspension) now has precident. If I were the compliance staff of any university I would ban autograph signings for brokers, businesmen, boosters altogether
3. AutgrPh brokers have to be pissed now.

That's right. And Johnny was so kind and wealthy, that he footed all the bills for travel & lodging to multiple signing destinations. Uncle Nate arranged it all - Johnny is really a great kid that allowed these brokers to sell his signature - and he even paid the expenses incurred for traveling all over the place to meet these brokers..................

Manziel got paid, he didn't get caught, but by trying to make an example of him the NCAA just showed they're a bunch of useless pussies. We should just pay these kids and make this honest.
