I think you're over exaggerating. They were the favorite when it was thought Sorsby wasnt going to be eligible. They have a ridiculously easy schedule avoiding almost all of the top teams in the Big 12. Hammond was good last year and they arent remotely tested until the 3rd game at best.

Least surprising thing ever.
Major market starved of a championship for decades in a city prone to front runners.

If this was a Shambliss situation or something similar then I'd agree.
But the dude bet (a shite ton honestly), and did so while being a member of the team participating in those contests.
Regardless of fandom I can say my stance wouldnt change. Dude shouldnt be involved in CFB moving forward. He straight up broke a big time rule.

It's wrong, but until there's a governing body to put a stop to this BS it will continue happening.
That’s the problem with this exact situation. We have a governing body who already has clear rules and precedent set for this exact situation.

I don't blame the courts for this.
Well you should. The reasoning the judge gave was absolute bullshite and there is already precedent set for this. Just about every talking head including lawyers and agents in the industry didnt expect this to happen.

The blame falls on Texas Tech. Why are they even fooling around with this guy? It's pitiful. Texas Tech should be CFP banned for 3 years.
But also true

Uhhh we are already hated because of Lane and Wade. If Sorsby did end up at LSU it would absolutely be 100x worse than what tech is receiving right now.

He literally bet on a team he played for. Thats insider trading and completely illegal. It calls into question the competition which you absolutely can’t have it people are betting.
Do you blame Bud light because some redneck got behind the wheel and crashed their truck after drinking 15? No that’s where personally accountability comes into plays.

The SEC has it own problem with one of its schools having a local Judge override the NCAA to allow a QB to play. It’s not as outrageous, but it showed Tech the way.
For the millionth time, it’s not the same.
While ridiculous as well, this isn’t a gray area eligibility case without precedent like OM. They have a clear black and white rule with previous precedent in the ncaa’s favor. This should have been a cut and dry dismissal.
There is a clear don’t game rule in place.

No college team should ever accept any eligibility ruling from the ncaa moving forward.
There is literally zero reason to.

The frick they were. The passenger was the target. The gas station footage shows the murders pull up on the driver side, watch the driver get out, the driver looks back at the car as he walks into the gas station. The other car immediately pulls up on the passenger side and shoots the woman.
She was clearly the target and it appears the driver might be in on it and even gave a signal.

Nope, good try though.
And like I said, the CC processing company started charging for CC information storage when they never had before. Kinda hard to include an unknown fee into your pricing.
