Like I just said OM's defense has done that all year even back to the Boise game. It's happens when you have a hot or cold offense(mostly cold)

Don't think so, though could be wrong.

Alabama's run defense is better than Ole Miss' though. Especially against a straightforward run attack like LSU. Alabama is still the only team this year to totally shutdown Arkansas' run game.

They did. Now they have the 24th best defense against the run.

Alabama is clearly better built to handle LSU's offense than Ole Miss and has already played an elite power running attack and shut it down.

LSU will have opportunities down the field to make plays, though. I just don't think you can expect anything close to the same type of game they had with Ole Miss. My guess is LSU's coaches plan that way as well.

When was the last time LSU scored more than 17 in a game against Bama? 2010? They last 4 games LSU is averaging 10 points per game. 17 by Bama may very well be enough to beat LSU - would've been enough for Ole Miss and AU (though AU went for 41 and took foot off the gas)

LSU has given up 10 TD's rushing in 9 games
Bama has given up 2 TD's rushing in 8 games

however, in the last 3 games LSU has played UF, Kentucky, and Ole Miss and has given up:

One rushing TD. To UF.

several personnel changes were made before and during the florida game. Beckwith, adams, and more rotation from the D line.

I think this will be a good game. As long as Alabama does not jump out to an early lead, I think Alabama's offense will focus on not losing the game. Kiffen will probably be somewhat handcuffed. Saban has to like his defense versus LSU. If Cam Rob is out, that will be huge.

Good one!

Holding a Waffle House menu up to cover your mouth while you talk would be the perfect addition to your coach Lane Kiffin Halloween costume.

Why LSU will win against Bama
by longtime DandyDon.com reader, Brad Nolan
As I look toward Alabama, I am striving to find an angle; some view from which I can see us winning this game. So, I took a look at the past 4 games played by both LSU and the #3 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. They have the advantage in nearly every statistical category. Yet, we have both played 4 games and both lost 1 of those games to a top 5 team. Bama to Ole Miss, who we beat. And, LSU to Auburn, who Bama is yet to play.
So, let me give you the bottom line first.......Over the past 4 weeks both LSU and Bama have played 4 conference games. Amongst those 4 teams, both LSU and Bama have played 1 highly ranked opponent. Both LSU and Bama are 3-1 in those contests. Yet the combined record of the teams LSU has played is currently 21-8 Overall, and 11-8 In-Conference. The combined record of the teams Bama has played is 19-13 Overall and 6-12 In-Conference. Bottom Line, LSU has played better competition over that same time period.
Whether we win or lose has more to do with how well we are playing today, than how we were playing 5 or 6 weeks ago.
Over the past two weeks, LSU has faced KY and Ole Miss who possess a 6-3 combined conference record. LSU's Defense has allowed:
530 Total Yards in those two contests
217 Total Yards Rushing
313 Total Yards Passing
Over the past two weeks, Bama has faced Texas A&M and Tenn, who hold a combined conference record of 2-7. Bama's Defense has allowed:
555 Total Yards in those two contests
172 Total Yard Rushing
383 Total Yards Passing
In Head to Head matches, we only have two common opponents, Florida and Ole Miss. We beat FLA and Ole Miss. Bama literally rolled FLA, I certainly do not want to skirt over that result as if it is equal to our narrow defeat of FLA. But, they lost to Ole Miss. If LSU had not had all of the miscues on Offense and had held on to 1 or 2 of their dropped interception chances, the Tigers may have rolled Ole Miss by 20 points as well. And, Ole Miss is a much better team than FLA.

Kentucky and OM's rushing offenses are both bad. Bama's LBs made our rushing attack look even sillier than LSU did. OM only had 60 some odd yards rushing.

The only time Alabama has given up any sort of real rushing totals was last weekend to Tennessee when they sprung a running QB that we hadn't really planned for (still played poorly, though).

West Virginia had no running success (and they've proven to be a decent running team).

Florida had 100 yards
Arkansas had less than 100 yards
A&M had 0 yards

The fact of the matter is that every year is different. Different personnel, different coaches, different everything

none of this shite in the past matters..at all

just watch the game in a couple weeks
