Your offense went three and out on seven of your first right possessions against Auburn
And the defense was just as bad. 41 points.

and the Bama game was all on the offense
Really? LSU goes up 13-10 with 50 seconds left in the game, 50 freaking seconds. Chavis's D allows a 55 yard drive in 47 seconds for the game tying FG to send it to OT. Games goes to OT, Bama has ball first, TD, Bama wins. UNCLUTCH

LSU fans have had good defenses for so long they have become spoiled
We've had good defenses for well over a decade, and we can point out flaws teams with shite defenses might not understand. If you dont get how a defense falling apart year after year at the end of multiple games recently when we have a lead or are tied is frustrating, dont worry, you will soon enough.

Well it helps when you have a Qb who runs right into d linemen
Like Manziel did so much

So make a bold prediction for LSUs offense so I can include it in my annual "I bookmarked these posts" thread
You are funny man.

But I thought our O has always sucked and our D was always what kept us alive? Shouldn't, by your flawed logic, Les have been fired years ago?
No, because Chavis's LSU D WAS elite. In particular that 2011 D WAS as good as they get.
Will Chavis's A&M D be elite? I don't know. The most bold prediction I will make is that Steele's defense will be good but not elite. What is sad is that isn't a very bold prediction given Steele's history.

I'm just not sure any D can consistently hold up on a team with a high tempo spread offense no matter who the D coordinator is.

Myles Garrett may not recognize the name, but he undoubtedly knows his number.
He probably still has nightmares of being crushed by the numbers 85 and 72.
A consensus preseason AA probably doesnt lose much over some random scrub TE from LSU.

So did Chavis change his defensive scheme in 2014? See my stats on the previous page
Why not include his other years at LSU?
2009 - 20 sacks
2010 - 34 sacks
2011 - 38 sacks
2012 - 35 sacks
2013 - 27 sacks
2014 - 19 sacks
What do these number tell you? When Chavis has a Dline that is loaded with NFL talent, and a secondary that is loaded with NFL talent, he can scrape together a decent pass rush. Shocking.

Their point is that the aTm offense is so much better
Even though they've won less championships and games and are still predicted to win less games than LSU

Must be dumb luck, because from what I've gather, all Chavis does is teach containment and pass deflections
You do understand that an elite secondary can help create sacks, correct?

All he needs is the 2nd or 3rd most talented defense ever in the history of CFB and he can have teams sack the QB too

The point is Chavis wont be in a position to blow those leads often at A&M if he produces defenses of good quality. At LSU, he produced stop after stop often to find his offense giving the ball right back and failing to build on leads. In 2012 A&M had a mediocre defense ranked in the 50s nationally and blew the doors off of nearly everyone we played.
When A&M is getting lots of stop in succession, our offense puts teams in holes that force them out of their gameplan and it frequently snowballs.

Yep. LSU was "halfway there" in 2009, 2013, & 2014. You can expect a similar looking pass rush.

I'm waiting for him to say the same thing about his linebackers since there are three of them from Louisiana that he didn't feel were good enough to offer when he was at LSU.

A few questions:
How many players did LSU lose on defense from last year and where did LSU finish in the conference rankings on defense?
Also, how many projected 1st rounders are on LSUs defense?

When said consensus AA was held to 1 tackle, 0 TFL, 0 sacks, and 0 QB pressures by said TE, he probably does remember him.

Let's be honest, barring a miracle defensive turnaround and lots of wins LSU fans will find a way to bring this shite back up and claim victory. The goalpost moving throughout the year will be legendary.
Based on preseason discussion, if Steele finishes with the 20th ranked defense and Chavis with the 30th while A&M wins 9 games or so A&M fans will clearly have been right. That wont stop LSU fans from saying "lol Steele finished higher", because you guys with GODDAMNED if little ol' aggy gets away with showing up your program.

Except he needs the talent you dont have yet. On top of that, he's used to a ball control offense you will never have under Sumlin.

And blowing way too many games late he shouldn't. Alabama being a prime example of this. Hell we took the lead for him last year and he managed to lose it in 50 freaking seconds allowing a 55 yard drive. In crunch time he doesnt know how to coach a defense, he becomes extremely passive.
