Is this the definition of Tua or Fournette?

It's never good enough for LSU fans that Burrow is successful. It has to be Burrow is the best and rooting for Tua to fail.
Miserable base has to be miserable.
Coming off the "greatest season ever" and still praying a player fails at the next level and loving it when he gets injured. Sad, really.

You know, I've got to be honest and give you some kudos here.
This is a staggeringly well-written observation, considering it was penned at 3:46 am presumably with a purple and gold dildo in your mouth.

Burrow had a torn rib cage from the natty, its the pros, champions don't make excuses...

Let's not be dramatic. It was a slight tear of some of the cartilage between his ribs. Tua sustained an injury that had some questioning whether or not he'd ever be able to play football again.

(See LSU fanbase’s psyche.)

Let’s see how Burrow does when he has to face Baltimore and Pittsburgh’s defenses.

From the Spring of last year through January 2020, Burrow became the most NFL-ready QB to come out of college in a long time. He ran an NFL offense with precision that has never been done before.
Meanwhile, Tua was running Sark's 3yd slants and then chuck up a deep ball offense.
I think Tua will be fine in a year or two when he's back to 100%. Learning behind Fitzpatrick isn't the worst place to be.

Joe isn't coming off an injury, give Tua time to knock off the rust.
I love to praise anything LSU related and rip on anything Bama related as much as the next guy, but this post is correct. Once he shakes off the rust of injury, Tua will be like Tua again.
You're trying too hard OP.

Following Tua's progress is a hip thing to do.

Bama has ruined this miserable group. Easily the worst fanbase out there

Everyone already knew this and you're just upsetting JimDog.

lol, Lawrence regressed in a major way last year and he sucked against LSU's defense.

On a day when Ryan Fitzpatrick was absent for personal reasons, both Josh Rosen and Tua Tagovailoa got significantly more work. And though Rosen had the better day, both disappointed. Their combined passer rating: a dismal 48.5.
Tagovailoa ended up going 6 of 15 for 95 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions and one sack in 11 on 11 drills.
Oof. Not good.

Dolphin fans rejoice as their savior at QB returned
Guess you could call a bit of a scare or even a wake-up call of sorts for Dolphins fans, but Ryan Fitzpatrick is back and the team's quarterback situation once again is pretty clear.
This obviously is great news for the team based on what we saw in practice Friday when both Josh Rosen and Tua Tagovailoa, first-round picks in two of the past three drafts, really struggled in team drills.

I think that was from several days ago. Monday was apparently better:
quote:
Ryan Fitzpatrick may understand that he's the placeholder for Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, but the starting role is one he might not have for long. The Miami Dolphins' top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft put together a very impressive practice session recently, and it was something that definitely had attendees talking. According to The Miami Herald, Monday was Tagovailoa's best day since joining the Dolphins. If he stacks more practices like this one, it could be the Tua show sooner rather than later.
His "flashes of brilliance" included three touchdown passes during 11-on-11 drills, and he made a handful of throws that confirmed why he was considered an elite NFL prospect, per the Herald's report.
Tagovailoa also impressed during 1-on-1 drills, and reportedly delivered several pinpoint passes that only the intended receiver could catch. The Herald's reporters claim that Tagovailoa has not done enough to inject himself into the starting conversation yet and that the Dolphins have not been tempted to let him work with the first-team offense as a whole -- which includes Miami's top wideouts. However, if Tagovailoa puts together more practice sessions like the one he had on Monday, that could change.

Joe was a senior and it took an NFL coach and the best receiving corps in the country to finally elevate his game. My only complaint was why did it take so long? Joe Burrow *should* be where he is now and *should* be ready if he is the elite QB we think he is.
Tua was obviously elite in the college game but NFL is a different story. Tua is young and I personally think another season would have made him more prepared but kids these days don't wait when that money is there. Give Tua some time. I think he'll be fine.
I believe Joe B. will do well in the NFL kind of like Stafford has done but I'm still pumping the brakes on believing he'll be an elite QB in the NFL. We'll see how that goes. I think Tua will do fine as well but he will have some injuries (hopefully nothing horrific like he had at Bama) and this will limit how far he goes.
