Anyone noticed how similar Joe’s and Dan’s first 3 years are. Yards, TDs, Playoffs, Super Bowls. I mean the stars aren’t exact , but they are close.. the results are basically the same.
Kinda weird.

Joe can run and throws from outside the pocket.

Ok … if you don’t think Joe’s on pace for a HOF career.. that’s you!

Look how long it took Stafford to reach a super bowl
A lot of really good players don't make the super bowl in their career
He took the Bengals to the Super Bowl
Let that sink in

Old Dan never won a Championship in two decades of trying.... He was a show pony.

I think the next 5-10 years will be a better tell, than the first three.

At this point in each of their careers, I would agree. Hell, Marino had the best start to a career of anyone in the NFL before or since. He had the single best year for a QB in NFL history in only his second season and held that record for 29 years.
29 of the 30 best seasons for any QB in NFL history all happened after 2000. The only outlier is Marino's 1984 season. As a passer, he dominated his era like no QB in history.
Yet, rightfully or not, he is not considered to be a top 5 QB in history due to not winning. Winning is all that counts from a QB and its how he is judged, and how eventually, Burrow will be judged.

Don’t be salty because Dak (the best QB in your sorry school’s history) continues to stink up the league,

I wish LSU fans would quit with these Joe Burrow threads . . .

Burrow will go as far as the Bengals allow him unfortunately.
If Joe was on the Dallas Team with that defense, they would never lose a game.
I have zero faith in the Bengals organization to build enough depth around Joe.

Subtle “no super bowl wins” troll.

NFL is a totally different league now compared to when Marino played. Can't really compare their stats directly

Assuming this is an attempt to take a shot at Burrow, comparing him to a College football and NFL hall of famer is... an interesting choice.
