I guess you could say that.

However, comparing their 1st 3 seasons .. am I wrong?

Burrow may win a Super Bowl..my guess is .. if he or Trevor want yo win one; they will have to follow Matt Stafford and be traded to a better team.

Since 1997-
Only Peyton and Eli have been selected number one overall and won super bowls with those teams.

Stafford is the only other overall number one to win a Super Bowl, but it took said trade.

I think Joe is 2x the player Marino was(especially at this point) and that's why I don't like the comparison.

Marino wasn't the first pick and didn't go to anywhere near the worst team in the league.

Burrow turned around a shite show.

Maybe, but no one rocked the Isotoners better than Dan.

Technically, Eli did not go to the Super Bowl with the team that drafted him #1. He was drafted by the Chargers and then was traded to the Giants for their draft pick, Philip Rivers. But, I know what you mean.

No way to know if Burrow will win a Super Bowl or not. Here's hoping he does.

If Joe was on the Dallas Team with that defense, they would never lose a game.
I have zero faith in the Bengals organization to build enough depth around Joe.

You have faith in the cowboys organization?

Anyone noticed how similar Joe’s and Dan’s first 3 years are. Yards, TDs, Playoffs, Super Bowls. I mean the stars aren’t exact , but they are close.. the results are basically the same.

Nevermind that offenses are way the hell more prolific than they were 40 years ago.

Joe Burrow is nowhere close to as good as Dan Marino was. It's ridiculous to even compare the 2.

These comps of JB with HOFers is hilarious.

Joe has had a nice start to his career, but he's nowhere near Stafford, Namath, Newton, Manning or Manning.

If they don't get him an oline he won't last 5 more years and the whole convo will be "what if"
