Yeah I’d imagine he’d take that but is someone really gonna offer a 29 year old 3 million dollars to run their program after 1 year of a full time job?

Not an exact parallel, but Lincoln Riley is not too far from this scenario and he got a premier gig at Oklahoma.

Sean McVay got the Rams job at 30 and took them to the Superbowl at 31 . . . so it definitely happens.

Someone could throw the bank at him (more so than LSU already has) and I think he’s go. He’s not a die hard LSU guy like O.

Honestly what are they going to offer him that LSU won't? $2m?

LSU knows what they have and will match any semi reasonable offer.

On the flip side, he has a QB that is playing out of his mind. Other schools would probably want to see another season of production before giving him top 5 OC pay

I believe he will be promoted to OC before being allowed to leave.

I could certainly see an NFL squad grabbing him up, though. His offensive prowess was already known, and now he has shown that he can develop a QB well.

Makes sense. It's the same calculus Kirby had when Richt tried to get him to be DC at UGA. That's a lateral or lower move. Never smart.

All have deep pockets and have a need for offense. Several could be looking to groom him into their forever HC.

I'm not sure what they gave Harbaugh but historically Michigan has been pretty cheap.

But it's equally as foolish to think he will bail after 1 year of incredible success

What? He's one of the hottest names in college coaching and he's never even been a coordinator. He'd be foolish not to at least leverage his position or listen to other offers. You think he's gonna be this "hot" when Burrow is gone?

I'm sure that will go over well with the faculty.

LSU was an anomaly in this regard. They are now in line with most other programs. Does Auburn athletics donate to the university?

t.u. whorns are already licking their chops. Not to mention all the G5’ers that are about to lose their HC’s. If Brady has any ambition to be a HC this is his big chance. He’s the next big thing.

I'd rather lose them, than have to fire them. Always better that way.

Yes I always said he could leave for a high paying college OC job with a HC in waiting promise. That’s not something LSU can give him, nor should they.

I understand the infatuation with him. He took LSU out the stone ages. I think he is great. But he isn’t the only guy that knows offense.
