Jordy does a morning radio show in BR. He used to do it, for years, with Derek Ponamsky. Who’s Ed Orgerons assistant now.

Y’all better hope the NFL shows up because LSU ain’t letting his arse go

Can we just acknowledge that Ponamsky is living his best life? From convicted felon failed tugboat captain to professional coat tail rider. What a time to be alive.

I love Jordy but I think these are purple and gold glasses he’s looking through.

Someone could throw the bank at him (more so than LSU already has) and I think he’s go. He’s not a die hard LSU guy like O.

I wouldn’t even be mad at him if he got a massive upgrade in salary and title. It’s just the business

Lol, name one school that will out pay LSU.

I’ll wait.

The annual $10mil check LSU athletic department would always donate to academics will now be used for facilities and coach salaries. LSU will not lose an assistant to another school.

Michigan

UT
UGA

All have deep pockets and have a need for offense. Several could be looking to groom him into their forever HC.

To think he will stay loyal to LSU forever is foolish

I want you to be right. I want Brady here for a long time. But to say he will never leave is foolish

LSU 100% wont lose Joe Brady to another college OC job. That is pretty clear. We will open the checkbook. Now, if the NFL comes calling or someone is willing to make him a head coach we will lose him at that time

Well if Jordy from the morning radio show in BR said it then you know it must be true

In all seriousness though y’all had better break out the checkbook because he’s done a great job and there will be some big offers coming his way.

I didn’t say he will never leave. I said he will never leave for another college OC job.

And I’m saying that’s awesome and I hope we keep him, but never is a really long time in an ever changing football landscape.

Of course. But it's equally as foolish to think he will bail after 1 year of incredible success.

Never say 100%. You never can tell what motivates someone. He might get a wild hare up his behind to coach in Florida where he grew up.

That having been said I imagine it is far more likely that someone offers him a HC gig or the NFL knocks on his door again. The good news is that he only has one year coaching at a high level in college. It will probably be a couple of years before someone makes him a "Godfather" offer.

Hahah you gotta be fricking kidding right?

It has nothing to do with loyalty. It’s called logic.

UT, A&M and Michigan all have significant less offensive talent then LSU and all 3 need to win big next year. Also he wouldn’t have control over any of those offenses with Jimbo, Herman and Jim.

None of them will out pay LSU and he has sooo much more security here.

UGA I can hear an argument for but even then would he get the full autonomy that he receives at LSU? Also LSU has the most talented skill position group in the country coming in on the trail.

Your saying he won’t stay loyal so he’ll leave for the same job, with less talent, the same money, more pressure and less security.

Also you think the Old Money at LSU is gonna let their prize walk without making him say no to more money then whatever offer he receives?

That’s what’s foolish!

No, I’m saying he could leave for more money, comparable talent, possibly and easier conference, and a clear HC in waiting position.

And I don’t think it will be this year OR even in the next 2. It’s just that it’s a serious possibility

Even a tame hare up your arse would be pretty motivating.

Read slower bud. Jordys saying he’s never leaving for the same position at the college ranks.

He may become an NFL OC. He may become a College HC. No one is coming to take him at a college OC position unless shite has went sideways in the department

LSU will pay him more than anyone.

He has more weapons at LSU than he’ll have anywhere else

He has more control over LSU offense than he’ll have anywhere else

He has more security at LSU than anywhere else

He would be an idiot not to leave. He knows he cant coach up the typical LSU qb and burrow will be gone next yr. LSU fans will be back to sucking crawfish heads and worrying about inspection stickers next yr.
