93 million dollars for Jimbo to lose to a combined 53 million Mike Leach, Sam Pittman, and Lane Kiffin.

Meh. This little stat is based on contract length as much as anything.

And you don't yet know what it's going to cost you to convince a solid coach that dealing with your irrational fan base is worth the money.

Firing coaches less than 2 years removed from a title adds upward pressure on salary.
