A announcer during a Texas highschool game said he coached jamarcus Russell to a BCS championship.

Kind of true in that Jimbo was OC in 2003 and Russell was on that team.
But very misleading. Not sure why they didn't just mention the actual QB for the 2003 team.

The announcer was wrong. Fisher left LSU the year before Russell won the BCS title with LSU.
Gary Crowton was the OC during the 2007 season.

Fisher nor Russell were at LSU when LSU won the BCS. Matt Flynn was the QB and Russell was the first pick of the Raiders after leading LSU to a Sugar Bowl win over Notre Dame January 2007.

I just watched the highlights of that game. I haven't been this excited about a recruit since Kyler Murray.

I'm so excited for the next few years of A&M football. As good as we will be this year, next year King and the OL will all be experienced, and we will have talent and depth across every position, including WR. 2022 is the year many have targeted for a break out.
Then in 2023, Conner Weigman will take over a truly stacked team as a RS Fish, or Sophomore. We are on the cusp, and Fisher built this team to compete year after year. But it all starts this year ...

He won't be, as he has announced that he is enrolling at A&M for the spring semester. Once you enroll, you're ineligible for a couple of years. He could potentially change his mind and not enroll at A&M for the spring semester, but that's unlikely to happen.

That isn't similar to Murray. He signed a baseball contract, enrolled at OU, and later signed a NFL contract, What is different about this guy>

Murray singed his baseball contract after the required years had passed from when he first enrolled.
