Jimbo Fisher is a train wreck.

I've always had an issue with JF. He left FSU in complete shambles, yet A&M decides to bet their football future on this clown. They are now reaping what they have sown.
He reminds me so much of Les Miles. Miles simply refused to recognize the problems with his inability to change his offensive philosophy.
A&M prolly loses to Bama, Florida, and Ole Miss.
If they do lose to those three teams, the LSU game might decide his future at A&M.
Actually, A&M has so much invested in this venture they will likely stick with him for one more year. But the writing is on the wall.

Exactly one more year. He would have to lose just about every remaining game to get fired after this season. People need to stop acting like Major colleges can't find 90 million dollars its just dumb. He will get one more chance after this season and if no major improvement is made Jimbo is gone.

So you just had several donors write 8 figure checks (yeah, $10+ million a piece) to raise $200 million for new practice facilities. Those same people would be the ones paying the buyout.
What do you do? Go back to them and say “Hey, we fricked up. The guy we are building that $200 million practice facility for turned out to be a complete bum. We need another $90 million. Oh, and we need another $50 million for a new guy.”
Not happening for a couple years minimum. Sorry.

According to lying arse finebaum, the boosters and top brass at A&M told him at a dinner that 90 million is nothing to them and they are pissed.
I highly doubt anyone told that weasel anything of the sort.

If, and it’s a really big IF, SC beats 8&4 he may not make it to next year.
