I agree in theory but last night we were losing and trying to get the win. They went with what was working in order to win the game.

Elko made a great call to put in Reed no doubt. Reed should be the starter going foward in my opinion. Reed has been okay passing the ball and A&M as a whole has been just okay if not bad besides a couple games against weak defenses.

Reed was only part of that equation last night also. That was a total dominant second half that started with the defense. They set the Ags up at the 8 and got them right back in the game . Did the same thing again and A&M took the lead and never looked back thanks to Reeds legs and the rb's and defensive play. My point is if the Ags want to go far and make some noise they will need to find some consistency.Need it through the air to keep good defenses from teeing off just like A&M defensd did to LSU with no ground game .

Why would you expect Reed to throw the ball?

I understand the team ran it down LSU's throat. Reed has not faced an elite defense that can stop the run. What are you going to do when a team stops the run? My guess is throw and you need wrs to throw to. I'm not saying A&M can not win against a good defense but it would be easier to do so with a balanced attack. I thought Noah Thomas would have a breakout year. As of right now I don't even think a team has to focus on A&Ms passing attack. Klein needs to throw in some wrinkles against S.C. and try and get the TEs involved. Reed fits Klien's system great but you need to be able to rely on the pass also against great defense. I have no idea how it will work out. A&M can not get behind against a team that's good at stopping the run as of right now in my opinion.

It’s easier for WRs to get separation if the QB is a run threat.

True and hopefully that will help. Reed has been in plenty this year and made some decent throws but not consistently. Need more out of wr's.

A&M's backup had two pass attempts and LSU couldn't stop him running the ball. Other defenses (particularly the better ones like Texas) will be able to scheme to stop a QB who doesn't throw the ball much. if anything, Reed makes A&M even more one dimensional.

This is true . I am cautiously optimistic that Reed will continue to evolve . He is definitely a bigger run threat at this point and time. Connor is a much better passer but is not a fit in Kleins offense. Even if A&M had great qbs the wr's do not get separation on a consistent basis and good defenses can shut down the run. A&M's offense will struggle more this year and to me is a week to week guess on the outcome. I don't think just Reed is going to get it done. Need backs to step up even more against tough competition and introduce some TE's into the passing equation.
To be honest all of the LSU badgers were non existent in the 2nd half .

More people come to hear Trump than all the other candidates combined. And Trump is undefeated in presidential elections.

They want to gain viewership and that's what Trump brings. They see the writing in the Wall and are about to flip flop again.
Trumps been calling Obama president for awhile now. Its very likely he is running the dems and this is really his third term. He will get rid of Joe who takes all the blame for the America he actually created and is planning his 4th term with man wife.

No, I actually think that most of Vivek’s supporters will pivot to Ron over Trump, at least initially.

Not going to happen. Vivek supporters second choice is DJT. Naturally when your candidate drops out you move on to your second choice. How many in each individual state is yet to be determined. DeSantis will flop in New Hampshire and he knows this. Viveks votes are now going to counteract the dem haley vote in New Hampshire. They are not helping Ron "at least initially " as you state. Odds are things are only going to get tougher on DeSantis .

So does this mean that it is a done deal Trump wins by 30 points tonight? To the point that any discussion otherwise is TDS?

Pretty much but you can discuss whatever you want it's still barely a free country.

I just don't see that contigent of people going out in the weather just to "show Trump," but that is certainly the biggest unknown tonight, I think.

I tend to agree with you here. Going worst case in that prediction. The everyone hates Trump propaganda is definitely exhausted.

Don't think Trump gets to 51 percent. There will be a lot of democrats voting for the best Democrat running in 24 Haley.

Trump 1st about 42
Haley second 27
Tiny D 21
Ramaswamy 8
Rest who cares.

We literally have not had a single vote cast yet. We will soon find out if Trump is up by 40-50 or if all of it was a psyop.

BTW, DeSantis has 6 fully staffed and packed field offices that have knocked on nearly a million doors in Iowa alone and they are hitting it hard again today. Trump has 1 Field Office but he's getting articles talking about how amazing his ground game is today.

We will find out soon enough.

No one is saying Trump is up 40 or 50 points. He is up 34 in Iowa. You are trying to cover DeSantis by throwing out bs numbers so his loss looks less pathetic.

No one gives a sh** about this ground game you are always rambling about. DeSantis could have 99 field offices and it would just be more wasted money. You have been preaching ground game for months and it still doesn't mean anything of any importance.

Voters in Iowa side with Trump in every major issue. Economy, foreign affairs, border , believe he will beat Biden. The only thing DeSantis is doing on the ground is leaving a boot imprint bigger than his foot size.

I thought she hated him then came around?

I'm pretty sure she started in on him in 18 or 19. She is trying to persuade voters that Trump has no support and the party has moved on. I'm not sure who she supports and really don't follow her .

This must be the same Ann Coulter who thought her opinion of Trump was a majority. Seems like a bad calculation on her part. He ended up with 10 or 12 whatever million more votes in 20 according to the folks who run the most secure elections.
Sorry Haley did not gain 15. They are officially done with DeSantis.
quote:

Yeah, that's why Trump won't debate or do interviews with people that aren't friendly. He mainly does scripted events reading off a teleprompter. He likely had all the questions for this in advance as well.

Trump is the most off script candidate in the field. If he has to debate DeSantis he will. Fact is he won't have to so there is really no reason to talk about it. You call the CNN townhall host a friendly? Get real your simping for DeSantis . Trump crushed that and was off script the whole time.
quote:

Not even close. He’s done well but Ron one-on-one kills Trump.

Yeah thats not happening. Trump will have Ron making retarded faces and liking his lips begging for more water a 1/4 of the way in.
