Its easier to win at a SEC school than not. Its a close matchup between the two.

FSU is a dumpster fire since Jimbo and little bit before Jimbo.

Marc R. always had Ga close, but not quite there. GA is just a hands down better program than A&M. Ga has won two titles since Aggies last one. Hell even Bear Bryant couldn't wait to leave A&M.

A&M is a hard place to win.

Why do people ignore FSU started becoming a dumpster fire while jimbo was there?

Neither Jimbo nor Kirby had a winning record against Ed Orgeron

Losing 4 games a year doesn’t put you at 2. Sorry Bud

Bear Bryant may have wanted to leave Texas for Alabama because he played for Alabama. To say he couldn't win here is silly. He didn't stay very long

But don't let this ruin your agenda

Kirby picked up a program that just went 9-3 the year before. 10-3 in 2014, 8-5 in 2013, 12-2 in 2012

The foundation was there at UGA.

Texas A&M was a dumster fire. 7-6 before Jimbo. Previous 3 seasons of 8-5.

Texas A&M was a rebuilding job than GA. People forget about that.

And now he has them going 8-4. Huge improvement

I know when Mama calls, Mama calls...

Still the Bear Bryant only had 1 LOSING season in his 38 years of coaching. That losing season was at A&M. Keep in mind, he coached at Maryland, Kentucky, not exactly powerhouses...

But at the time, A&M was not a huge co-ed research university, so back then it was probably true.

Now?

There is no reason why a coach cannot win at A&M and it has only been the case for the past 10 or so years.

What were the circumstances to that one losing season? I'm curious because I honestly don't know. What was A&M's record before said losing season? What was A&M's record after the losing record?

Georgia, Bama, Ohio State and Clemson have owned recruiting the last 10 years and look who has owned the CFP.

A&M has realistically only been recruiting on the same level in the last 3 years or so.

I can think of a whole host of SEC HCs who are underemployed for failing to do that very thing.

Jimbo is the 2nd best coach in the SEC behind Saban and it’s not debatable
