He used his YouTube channel to get gigs around Birmingham. He's been on Finebaum and he does a weekly picks segment on the local news now.

For someone like him, that's about as far as his comedic skills were going to carry him. People are already tiring of his "how Alabama fans" videos that he posts every Sunday morning. There's only so many times you can laugh about a rival losing before it becomes stale and boring, and that's basically all the video ever was in the first place - "Alabama good, Auburn, Tennessee and LSU bad."


When that's your act, you can't go around cheering for Auburn basketball and claiming it's different than Auburn football. That's when many of the influential gumps on social media started taking shots at him.

I'm all for the monuments of defeat being brought down but Funnymaine deserved this. And it's funny because he annoys me.
