That should be the sentence for all of the people who vandalized city/state property. Make them clean it up.

I think the career ending part was pissing off his target audience: SEC football fans who are predominantly conservative white males
That may be how most of us know him, but those YouTube videos aren't the primary way that he makes money. If a bunch of people who were never going to buy a ticket to one of his comedy shows anyway decide to stop watching his YouTube videos, he's not going to go broke.

Well, the particular monument that he wanted gone is gone, and it was removed by the same city government that's charging him.

Even if he is convicted, a class A misdemeanor isn't exactly a career ending event for a professional comedian.

I don’t have a dog in the fight regardless. It’s not like most of Birmingham isn’t a shithole now anyway. My point is that if you want something removed and it’s not your property, you either go to local officials or tough shite.

It was local officials who removed it. Birmingham city government has been trying to remove the monument for years but the state legislature passed a law blocking them and also preventing them from building a box around it. Even now, the state is still going to fine the city $25,000.

In a move that really shouldn't surprise anyone who follows Alabama politics, the original bill to ban local governments from removing or renaming public structures was introduced by Gerald "we should remove books with gay characters from public libraries" Allen, a man who somehow manages to stand out as a particularly demagogic member of the Alabama State legislature. (If you need context, that's like managing to be an especially stinky turd in an abandoned septic tank.)

He seems a lot of his background and real character were revealed. May not even be a real fan, just using it as a platform to promote his product.

I'm good friends with his cousin. He's a real Bama fan. Spent a lot of time in Tuscaloosa growing up. Never met him, but his family are good people. Marvin Constant is one of his cousins as well. He screwed up like we all do, and will learn from it.

Congrats, I guess. Your black comedian fans hate you Louisiana white boys less than Alabama's. Or not. N.O. had some black folks wearing LSU gear raising hell and tearing stuff down in a recent video. Given a choice I'd take my chances in downtown Birmingham during a riot over much of Baton Rouge and all of N.O. There was a cloud of tear gas over N.O. And the people who could get out of that hell hole did.

A post that's nearly a year old that called you "unfunny" bothered you so much that you waited a year to bring it up again.

I get it. The statue was torn down completely to pacify the protesters, but that doesn’t mean the protesters had the right to destroy property in the first place.

Protesters tear down statue

The one I had was removed and I was warned not to put another one up, so I put a picture of Burrow's racist tweet up and they suspended my sig privileges. That was late November.

I haven't put one back up since.

He's an attention whore who was OK at first when his videos started but they progressively got worse and less funny.

For me, the nail in the coffin was him tweeting "War Eagle!" during Auburn's NCAA tournament run and blasting Alabama fans for not having state pride. I haven't cared to watch his phony arse since.

You said that for your avatar for months - but now you have an avatar.

That tells me that you can have a sig.

So take your pick and quit welching:
