i wonder if Arky bitches as much as UGA does in regards to traveling for a neutral site game.

Even though the Dawgs own the title deed to Florida's ponderosas in Jax, it is NOT a neutral site -- not by a long shot.

Jax is predominately pro-Gator and always has been. Nevertheless, we've "whined" so much about it that UGA keeps renewing and agreeing to the series in Jax.

Talk 'bout complainin', swamp lizards...

Yeah no.

I didn't say it had to be your #1 rival. But to be FAIR each SEC team should play 1 neutral site game somewhere, sometime during the season.

It's already fair. UGA/UF voluntarily choose to play at a neutral site. They don't have to do that.

So, to be FAIR the vast majority of teams have to accommodate the few that have traditional neutral site games?

No.

If those few teams think it's that unfair, they can just schedule all their conference games home-and-away like everyone else.

According to the laws of mathematics, 45>42. We own the deed. We also own the deed here, too: 54-44-2.

and your signaure line is a lie.

UGA - 7 National Titles, 15 Conference Titles, 2 Heisman Trophy winners

according to ncaa.com UGA has 2 national titles.

1980 and 2021

Why can’t Uga just have it at Sanford every other year?

Who forces this?

Did they agree to it?
Do both schools have to ditch Jacksonville?

Alabama and AU ditched Birmingham.

you must be an old man to have a come back like that and think it's funny.

the fact that Arky doesn't bitch and moan about their drive to Dallas for the aTm game is very telling about just how sandy Georgia's vagina is in regards to the Florida game in Jax.

We could if we wanted to. We get paid pretty well to play in Jax.

No. You totally miss the point. In order for a 9 game conference schedule to be fair to all, each team should have 4 home games, 4 away games, and 1 neutral site game. Otherwise, the teams with 5 home games have a built in advantage for those that have 4 home games. This is my biggest criticism of the 9 game conference schedule.

UGA and UF playing in the cocktail party have zero to do with it. All I was trying to say is that if we're talking a 9 game conf schedule, then every team needs to start thinking about an in conference neutral site game like the cocktail party. And, since even the teams that have an in conference neutral site game don't like it, then maybe it's not a very good idea.

Are you saying that in one year, USCe will have
5 home
4 away and then
4home
5 away the next year?

Yes. That’s a tough aspect of 9 game schedule.

But, I don’t see the following having to shoehorn a neutral site game JUST to make Uga/UF, UT/ou, Aggie/Ark happy:

LSU
Ten
Alabama
Auburn
Miss
Miss St
Etc.

It’s their choice to have a neutral. They opt for this.

The thing that is unfair to the secE is that you have perennial ACC rivalries that don’t help your ease of schedule.

Clemson, FSU, GT actual power five programs. LSU could play Tulane but they gave that rivalry up for a reason.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. And not just SC, every team in the SEC. It's just another opportunity for the head office to manipulate things. For example, 1 team not only gets 5 home games, but the 4 away game are at "cupcake" schools, while your "rival" has the opposite situation.

Both the Auburn and Tennessee games in Athens that year were plenty big enough to attract recruits to Athens for a game day and provide a good gameday experience on campus. Having the Florida game in Athens that year wouldn't have made any difference in recruiting. Pruitt is a moron. A very wealthy moron.
