The same amount that Julio Jones had his entire college career.

Just an insane talent.

meh. he was good, but he was basically force fed the ball in some of those games. solid player, but if the offense didn’t do that, he has much more modest stats. Nothing against him though, he’s an amazing player and person and I hope he succeeds in the pros

He's a better wr than the 17 year old at Bama.

That is generally what you try to do with your best players

He's ridiculous. He could have gone to the NFL out of high school and started.

That’s like saying Joe Burrow would have had more modest stats if LSU ran the Wing T when he was here.

Retarded fricking take.

The same amount that Julio Jones had his entire college career.

He is super talented and gets featured at OSU. Jaden Greathouse for ND doesn't have the surrounding cast around him, and had a better game last night.

Smith also got 15 TD playing with the best roster in CFB. That helps a lot.

He also had 1 catch against Texas for 3 yards, competing against a similar roster.

He's the closet thing, overall talent and physical build, to Julio that I can remember just in terms of how they play and how they are built.

Julio played in a college offense that wasn't exactly looking to throw the ball around the yard (nor did he have 2-3 other NFL WRs around him).

Yeah I completely agree. This wasn’t a knock on Julio at all just a testament to Smith

His body build for an 18 year old is absurd. Fast guys just aren't built like that coming out of high school outside of 2-3 every decade.

Julio Jones (2008) (FR)

Jeremiah Smith (2024) (FR)

The Julio comparison sort of works but not completely. Julio was one of one. I'd say Smith is half Julio and half some other receiver that I can't put my finger on.

He is a baller for sure. His ability to get open when everyone in the building knows he’s getting the ball is impressive.

Like the shorthorns game?

Bracket coverage and zone took him out of the game.

ND ran man and got roasted. He’s a huge mismatch against anyone I can think of in college football not named Travis Hunter. Maybe him too.

The names thrown out are Fitzgerald, Julio, Calvin J and Andre

I think the Andre Johnson one is a pretty good comp actually

He is insanely talented, but when you have 3 other 5 star receivers around you, it makes it hard to key in on 1 guy. You can't double him without Embuga hurting you. Most defenses in CFB don't have the secondary to limit the damage.
