LSU is one game above .500 against UGA with a total of 3 game lead in the series. Nice.
UGA is 17 games above .500 against USC with a 32 game lead in the series. Duke has a better series record against USC than LSU does against UGA in more games. LSU is a real football program...no debate. South Carolina has a losing record against all but 3 teams in the SEC and 4 in the ACC and other than Wake Forest and Vandy their series with the teams they have a winning record against is pretty tight.
Georgia and LSU are the 15th and 16th winningnest programs in CFB. USC is 91st.
USC is really not a very good football school.

South Carolina isn't beating UGA. As a matter of fact., Georgia wins this one in a blowout. Richt isn't Georgia's coach anymore. Kirbys guys will be dialed in and focused.

I think anyone you play with any regularity is a rival. How intense that is has to do with many factors. One would be having both teams be good at the same time and having both team win games in the series over a number of years. I'd say you qualify lately. Historically speaking, you're no higher than fifth for us and I can't really see anyone other than Clemson higher than us for you.

I don't know that it will be a blowout but I think UGA will be in clear control of the game by ten minutes or so left.
I don't blame SC for thinking they'll win this game. Any top 25 school should have some hope in their own stadium.
I just think some of them offer silly middle school analysis that only sees things from their perspective. The idea that PK is a push or close to it as one of the major Cock posters on here said the other day is ridiculous. No problem with him feeling they will win, but at least give good reasons why you think that's so. A case can be made, but shitty analysis just makes you look dumb.

If only, teams could bring the success, from last year, forward. Too bad, that they have to start over, and prove themselves, on the field, again this year. You can assume,that you might be better than others. But that remains to be seen.

Really? Sec champs and rose bowl win says something. They have fallen short some years but got to Atlantic. Quit acting like Kentucky won the Sec n football. With that said USC should feel confident. I believe they can upset the dogs today.

Is LSU a UGA rival? Based upon message board jabs in 2017, they are. We didn't even play LSU in 2017.
South Carolina is a UGA rival like Kentucky, Miss St, Ole Miss, LSU, and Vandy are UGA rivals. Congrats, I guess. You ain't special.

I really don't like the Dawgs but the 2002 team was very good. Had there not been two undefeated teams that year, they would have been in the BCS title game. They arguably were playing the best ball at the end of the 2007 season. The 2012 team was very good and came within a split pubic hair of beating Bama in a game that could go either way. Then there is last year.
They may not have won an NC but they are much closer to being the Man than USCe will ever be.
If Muschump is successful he won't be there long because he knows that USCe has a ceiling.
